Guest guest
Thanks. I'll ask my doctor about that.  When you started on injections, how long did it take before you felt steady? From: forced2fish <ruca4life@...> Subject: Re: transition time for injections? Date: Monday, September 13, 2010, 1:28 PM  You should break up that 100mg into 2 50mg injections per week. That's my same dose and I do mine at 50mg on Tues and Fri with HCG on Mon/Wed/Thurs. > > Hi. I've been taking Testim for about 3 years but, due to inconsistent results, decided to try weekly injections (Testosterone Cyp. at 100 mg). Well, the first one hasn't gone so well. I felt decent, though a little hyper, the first couple of days, but now (4 days in) I feel as though my T. has completely crashed: no libido, no energy, etc. > > Is this typical when first starting injections? Guest guest
For now, as I get started, the nurse at my endocrinologist's office is doing the injections: She's very experienced at it. I'll ask her about splitting the dose next time I go in.  It's reassuring to hear you had some ups and downs when you started out. I'm definitely feeling like shit right now--hopefully things will get better with time as they did for you. From: forced2fish <ruca4life@...> Subject: Re: transition time for injections? Date: Monday, September 13, 2010, 2:00 PM  It's very standard to do it like that. Are you doing the injections yourself? I'm 36 and I've been on for about 3-4 months now. It took me a couple of months to really get consistent and I'm still getting dialed in. I just had my 3rd set of labs done and am waiting for results which should help to fine tune things even more. Before TRT I was feeling like shit all the time. When I started I would have days that I would feel like a new person, and days I felt like shit, which was much better than feeling like shit every day!haha..Fairly leveled off now. > > > > Hi. Guest guest
I'm 44 and been on TRT shots 4-5 months and have just started feeling better over the last month, just not 100% yet. After a lot of reading in this forum and talking to my Dr, we went from doing 200 mg every two weeks, a couple of 400 mg every two weeks and feeling like crap, then going to 100mg every two week and starting to feel a lot better, my Dr is letting me to 80mg every 10 days and I hope to get to 100% again. Good luck! Everyone on this forum says having a little bit more often seem to work better, and I agree. It's the Dr's that seem to have a hard time understanding it. Guest guest
Thanks . Looks like maybe I'm in a long ride. It's tough to be perserverant when you're feeling low, but examples like yours help. From: Pryor <j.pryor@...> Subject: RE: Re: transition time for injections?
