I am new to this group and although I know it's mainly reserved for men, I am a

woman who is struggling along with my boyfriend through this tough time.

We recently found out he has Low T. Levels are at about 200. The last 5 months

(our entire relationship) have been challenging. I didn't understand what was

going on!!! Although things seemed a little better when we first met, something

was never quite " right " . He didn't seem really interested in intimacy and I

could never understand that. I just didn't get why he was doing the things he

was doing. Like if I tried to even start kissing him he would give a couple

pecks and then turn his head...I tell you, this will quickly make a womans

insecurities come out in full force! He would always say it's not me that he

just doesn't FEEL the things he should be feeling when it comes to intimacy. He

is always so tired, depressed and irritable. I must say, I love this man and

have stuck by him and will continue to stick by him and pray that the shots will

help eventually! I guess I would just like to get some input from the men in

this forum on what I should do to help him through this! And what have you guys

and wifes/girlfriends experienced through this process.

He's been on 100mg shots every 15 days...he's had 3 so far and feels NOTHING! I

told him to tell his doc to increase the dose NOW b/c I think he should feel

something! But the doc says he has to wait 3 months and then retest and they

can adjust based on those results...UGHHHH!!!! So frustrating to watch the man

I love walking around like he's having an out of body experience!!! How long

does it typically take to start feeling the effects?

Thanks,
