Yep it can be why your low in my case my labs were all ways low normal for

Thyroid, Cortisol, Growth Hormone and Ferritin. Dr.'s kept telling me I am in

the normal range today I know this is Bull Shi* if you have a few hormones low

normal something is wrong. It was when I was on T shots 150 mgs a week and not

doing all that great I got my Dr. to let me try HCG he put me on 500 IU's 3x's a

week. After my 15 shot we did labs and my Total T levels doubled this means my

testis work and something is wrong with my Pituitary. Mine is bad from a head

injury I got in an auto accident some 28 yrs ago. It was after this I stated

getting sick.

Thanks for the info. My situation is very similar to yours except I'm just

beginning the whole process. You give me hope that I can get better, so

thanks for answering my emails.

I know on TRT for the first 23 yrs my testis went down to the size of small

grapes they get shut down from TRT and the HCG got them going again not they are

back to there normal size. One other think one can try to tell if there tests

work and they Pituitary is bad is to try Clomid. It's all in this link.

Did you have night sweats and does this fix the problem???

Re: HGH and cortisol

Mike,

My Pit was damaged in an accident too and I am on GH and HC too.

I take 10 in the morning 10 in the afternoon and another 5 before bed.

I CAN NOT sleep unless I take this at bedtime the few times I forget I will

awake within an hour with terrible legs twitches....

Some people are like this and others CAN NOT take any HC in the evenings or it

will keep them awake....

I did not start on the GH until I had been on the HC for about 6 weeks...at

first I had to dose every 3-4 hours because my body was so depleted and then

gradually I found myslef able to dose just three times a day...

On a side note my husband who is the reason I am on this forum has issues with

his gonads, thyroid and adrenals could NOT stablized his adrenals until he

started on Testosterone...it made a huge difference....So much so that eh had to

almost stop the HC becasue he was geting too much...

It is all very individual and you have to learn to read YOUR BODY AND

SYMPTOMS...Because we are all so different.

Judy,

You are preaching to the choir on that one. It took me hundreds of dollars

and many months before I found someone who was knowledgeable and willing to

treat me correctly. And, she still isn't knowledgeable on everything, but at

least she is willing to do research and listen to what I'm saying.
