Guest guest
So went to Endo today. Got the T results which surprised us both. This was after missing one shot. I am on 150mg a week plus arimadex. My last total T reading was 900.... Total Testosterone 217ng/dL range 250-1100 LOW Testosterone Free 52.6 pg/mL range 46.0-224.0 LOW NORMAL Testosterone BioAvail 101.3 ng/dL range 110-575 LOW SHBG 13nmol/L range 9-45 (This NEVER changes) Albumin, Serum 4.2g/dl range 3.6-5.1 Cortisol, Free Urine 59.5mcg/24hr range 4.0-50 HIGH Creatinine, Urine 4.01 g/24hr range .063-2.50 HIGH Cortisol Total 13.9mcg/dL range 4.0-22.0 NORMAL T4, Free 1.2ng/dL range 0.8-1.8 NORMAL TSH, 3rd Gen 0.45mIU/L range 0.40-4.50 LOW NORMAL IGF-1 244ng/mL range 86-220 HIGH My endo (and I) are at a loss at how the T dropped so low after only missing one shot. She wants me to retest in 2 weeks. She also gave me a 2 hour oral glucose tolerance test for growth hormone. She wants me to see another endo of my choosing. She is very frustrated that she has been unable to help me. Another surprise on the MRI was that I apparently had a small stroke that went undetected (explains the memory loss). She was focused on the Pituitary and did not initially see that in the report until I brought it to her attention. She wants me to see another endo to get a fresh set of eyes on this. If anyone has a recommendation for a good dr in CT (New Haven area), I would like to start there. Regards, Joe
