Hi Gail. isn't it the truth how if you just eat the solids, start

with the meat/chicken/protein first - that you get full. that's

great you went to the FitDay to really see what and how much you're

eating. i did that also and saw my carbs (bless them) were way up.

darn it!! love those carbs. but since i cut those back and upped

the protein by about another 20 grams, the weight has been coming off

real good. yes!! plus i'm staying with 1200 calories and do have a

good fill level which helps tons. it's been quite easy.

Most of the time, when my loss slowed down or stopped, i found the

reason in fitDay! Looking at my habits - which always seem to drift

back to the old, not-so-good-ones, almost revealed the problem. As

soon as i got back to the " basics " , i was back on track pretty

quickly. simply getting another fill, IMO, should be last on the

list after reviewing all this first. Sandy R

Folks: Haven't posted in a little while. I was kind of at the end of my rope

and ready to go off TRT. Decided to drive the 4 hours to Dr. Overbeck and

in Philly. Took a LONG time to get the labs back. They took over my TRT and

had me do two smaller shots a week (50mg) and then added hCG. I bought the

first dose of hCG out of pocket while the approvals worked their way through my

insurance company. All I have to say is WOW! I don't understand why doctors

don't START with hCG with men with secondary hypogonadism. I've been on it for

about three weeks and I feel fantastic! I have so much more energy than before

and the brain fog has lifted significantly. I am still trying to sort out an

Arimidex regimen that works with the T regimen I am on. If you have secondary

hypogonadism and your not taking hCG, you really should press your dr. on it.

My old endo would not try it but it is sure working for me. Plus Dr. O. lets me

do my own shots which is great because my travel load has increased and it

sucked having to go into the office every week. Thanks to Dr. O and !

Joe, I am so glad you posted this just when you did. I hope you don't mind

if I show your post to my doctor? After butting head with another clueless

Endo yesterday I was feeling pretty discouraged over trying to get a valid

rx for hCG. This whole thing and has me pretty down right now and your post

post was just what I needed to hear. Thanks Brother, Brett

Brett: Go right ahead. The hCG has made a world of difference for me. I am on

a regimen where I inject it one day before the T shots, which I do on Wed and

Sun, so hCG is on Tues and Sat. If you've been struggling with feeling better

and your on T and not really feeling better, the hCG is like a miracle!
