Guest guest
with me Levitra is the best!! I order the generic from ADC and take the full 20 mg pill. It works that night after an hour or so AND the next morning. If E2 is sky high--nothing works!!!! If e2 is just right-- I need nothing for good sex but still usually take something to get a rockhard cock so we can change positions and do it for awhile ________________________________ From: ed <edhill_2006@...> Sent: Tue, June 29, 2010 11:03:28 AM Subject: Maybe getting near the sweet spot with E2  Took a Levitra last night, and it worked pretty good. So maybe my E2 is close to where it needs to be. Been taking 1/4mg of arimidex EOD, so far two doses. Maybe I should see if I even need to take an ED pill tonight. I have no idea where my T level is. I would suspect it probably went up a little from where it was 2 months ago at 382. I have some HCG coming in, as I ordered some out of frustration, when the Ed pills stopped working. Should I try HCG to see if it increases my T. Is this something you have to be on for life? I was thinking that it probably could not hurt to give a try. Guest guest
I tell men to stick with the dose of Arimidex they started on until wood stops. When your to low your wood will die and taking a pill will not get it up. This is when you stop taking it until your wood comes back the day it dose your go back on the Arimidex but do less like every 3 days. As for HCG you don't need it for life some say you can even cycle it if your just adding it to your TRT. Guest guest
See we are all different Livitra did not work good for me. So I do Cialis 20 mgs every 3 days this keep night time good going and I don't have to wait for a pill to work. And my Heart Dr. says it's good for my heart taking it this way or 5 mgs everyday. Once most men have a ED problem it's always on there mind will it work when we go to have sex and this worry kills it the pill gets you pasted this. Guest guest
Phil, I just found out the " Wood Test " didn't work for me. I finally got my E2 test from way back May 10th my E2 was way down to only " 6 " and I have never ever have lost the ability to get wood ever since I have been on TRT. I had taken 1/3 of Arimidex two days before this test because I was getting emotional feeling. Usually a sign to me that the E2 is getting up. It worked I stopped feeling so emotional. Pryor to that I had not taken any Arimidex for 10 days. I am very surprised to see that I was that low just a couple of days after I thought I was high because of the way I was feeling emotional. Now I am not sure what to think. Before that we had been discussing the side effects I was having from the Arimidex. You said you thought I had gone low then but we decided because I hadn't lost the wood I must not have gone to low. Maybe I had considering this E2 test at 6 just a couple weeks later. Or do you think just that 1/3 Arimidex 2 days before could have done that all by itself? My first E2 test was 59. Now I am taking Dim so it really doesn't mater but apparently the " wood test " doesn't work on me. Guest guest
Hi Brett, Two things could be going on here the labs are wrong and if you did the Ultra test at Quest this happens all the time. The new not so great test has a lot of problems with it. To many times it has told men that were high they were to low. It's so bad that even Dr. stopped using Quest. Because of this problem a lot of men that were leveled and in the sweet spot for Estradiol got all messed up. If you did not have this test and you had strong night time and morning wood the morning of this test I would say the test was bad. I have lost count as to how many times my hormone lab have been in error and my Dr. had to re order them. This has happened so many times my Dr. now never makes any changes to my meds until he see a second test to confirm the first one. If you had not wood the morning of your labs yes 1/3 of a pill of Arimidex can make you do down this low. I get Panic Attacks for high Estradiol and when I have one I can take a .5 mg pill and in 30 min.'s the attack and Panic feelings are gone so in some men it works fast. Dr. says men need to be on it 5 weeks to get the full effect of the med. I feel his point on about this after 5 weeks taking Arimidex it will work very fast. On the days I take my Arimidex I can tell you I get a window of time where I can't get it up after taking the pill. I feel this is because the pill took me down to low and later on in the day levels would come back up. But then again I have see and heard it all you might be this low and still getting wood strange. Guest guest
Phil, I hear you about Quest screwing things up. Remember I told you I was having the 4X saliva cortisol test? I carefully numbered the tubes wrote the time it was taken on each of the 4 sample tubes as per the instructions. They sent back 4 reports with no time or order or anything on them. So we don't know which was taken when. What good is that? Two reports showed be below the lowest cortisol level for any time of day. 0.3 I'm assuming that was at 8AM and Noon when I am still feeling like crap. Anyway I am supposed to go to the hospital Friday morning for some kind of adrenal stimulation test. Doc said that is the " Gold Standard " Where have I heard that before? Thy are going to test my cortisol with a blood test then inject something that I can't read on the script and the test me again in a half hour. You probably know what that is! Before that Quest was sent blood samples to do my Thyroid and also do Total Testosterone for a baseline before I started hCG. Only report they sent back to the Doctor was the thyroid. Now I don't know what my T level was and if the hCG has raised it any. Between useless labs and useless Doctors what are you going to do? I do feel a bit better after the hCG more positive mood after I get out of my morning funk so I suppose it is working but it would have been nice to know how much it increased my T. So I reckon I just go by guess and by gosh I " THINK " I feel better! LOL Brett Re: Maybe getting near the sweet spot with E2 Hi Brett, Two things could be going on here the labs are wrong and if you did the Ultra test at Quest this happens all the time. Guest guest
Sounds like an ACTH stimulation test > > Phil, > I hear you about Quest screwing things up. > Remember I told you I was having the 4X saliva cortisol test? Guest guest
I don't have this problem with Quest labs just with the dam people taking the blood if they don't use the right color tops on the tube the tests don't get done. As for the test your Dr. wants to do I had this test it's called an ACTH stim. test and you need to read about this test so you know they are doing it right if not it will not tell you anything here are two links about this test the first one was done by a friend of mine then it was copied into the second link. http://forums.realthyroidhelp.com/viewtopic.php?f=12 & t=15444 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ACTH_stimulation_test Doing this test It confirmed I am Secondary Hypopituitary it showed my Adrenals work just don't get told to work.
