Guest guest
Hi all, my first appt with Dr. went well. What a great guy. I felt a little bad for him because he was feeling pretty wiped out when I saw him. He and I were both headed north from there so he was really looking forward to getting out of the office. He said that I am an interesting and complicated case. We're going to check thyroid levels two days in a row - once before taking meds, as I usually do, and once after taking meds. I have BCBS insurance which covers the 24 hour urine lab that he likes to do so we're going to do that also. I'm on vacation without access to a Lab Corp and I'm not at home long enough to collect all of my urine so the labs will have to wait until I get back in 10 days or so. Until then, all I'm doing is changing around the way that I dose my thyroid meds a little. Are any of you taking pregnenolone? I've been reading about it and it seems like it could be very good but, because I react so strongly to all changes in meds, I'm afraid of going too fast, taking too much. I've been there and done that too many times. From what I've read, the safest way to start is with sublinguals, 2x/week. Thanks,
