my Estradiol levels down it stopped then with my levels of Estradiol good every

now and again I would wake up in a sweat I have a blood test kit I used for

checking a family menbers sugar so one night I checked my blood sugar and it was

very dam low. So now I eat some meat, cheese or nuts before going to bed to

keep my sugar levels up.

Thank you I know my sugar is low at night and i do eat some protein before

bed. I have a slight case of Adrenal fatigue. I hope I can stop waking

up several times a night with a wet shirt and pillow case.

That is your problem low cortisol levels when low your sugar falls and if you

wake up like this it's not a small Problem it's a big one. You might need to

treat this problem with Isocort or Cortef (HC).

Here is a cut and paste from this link and in this like is a FAQ's about AF. I

have this problem and was a mod at STTM web site the FAQ's in this link I helped

make so if you need more info about this just ask.

http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/

===================================================

Adrenal insufficiency is linked to insomnia in two ways.

1)If your cortisol drops too low during the night your blood sugar drops too.

Your body compensate by releasing adrenaline as an emergency measure to mobilize

more sugar. This has the effect of waking you in an instant. This can be reduced

by eating high protein snack before retiring e.g. sardines, nuts of high quality

protein shake.

2)In early stages of adrenal fatigue cortisol levels tend to rise and if they

are high at midnight they can energise you and keep you awake. Phosphorylated

serine can be used to lower cortisol at these times due to its ACTH dampening

effect.
