Guest guest
Hi When your doctor is saying adrenal fatigue is he meaning low output of cortisol. If so then you should not be on dhea. This will just lower cortisol it even more. Sky  ________________________________ From: " gviceman77@... Rather than getting one course of action from the ENDO, another from the URO, and yet another from the primary care DR. I am currently on Testosterone injections (weekly .75 mg) ; HCG (20 on the insulin syringe) DHEA 50 mg daily I am also on Synthroid .1M and Antara for trigylcerides; ordered 5 years ago by my primary DR.. I am secondary Hypo ( MIR evidence) due to an head / neck accident 10 years ago. My DR. through numerous blood tests and saliva test concluded that I was suffering for adrenal fatigue. My doctor also suggested putting me on HGH for 3 to 6 months. My DR. believes that the optimum Testosterone level for me is between 800 an 950. I am 51 in pretty good physical condition, I lift weights 3 to 4 times weekly plus cardio. Just trying to loose some of the belly fat. Any comments about this treatment??? ? Guest guest
When cortisol spikes at that time, it *generally* does so because you are low during the day..DHEA lowers cortisol -- You can take PS (Phosphatidylserine) before bed, along with a high protein snack ....what were you lab values (your result + lab ranges) on your cortisol tests? Guest guest
That is how I was very low on DHEA and Cortisol I took DHEA supplements but never felt better on it. When I found out my Aldosterone levels were low and I went on florinef my DHEA shot back up on the supplements over the top of the range for both DHEA and DHEA-S. So I stopped taking it my levels came down to above mid range. My Dr. seen I stopped the DHEA and told me to go back on it. Man did this mess me up my Estradio and DHT went way up so I tell men today if your DHEA is in range don't add supplements it will convert into Estradiol. Guest guest
There is a supplement you can take to keep it down at night. Of going on Cortef HC will slow down your Adrenals from making it. Your cortisol levels are out of rhythm. Read this link they take about your problem near the bottom of it. And read the links in this there is a FAQ's that I helped do at STTM web site when I was a mod there. http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/ Co-Moderator Phil > From: gviceman77@... <gviceman77@...> > Subject: Re: Re Adreal fatiuge TRT, HCG, DHEA and possibly HGH > > Date: Tuesday, April 13, 2010, 5:07 AM > my cortisol spikes in the middle of > the night I awake very hungry > and I wake up wet from night sweats. my cortisol is > low in the afternoon > and evening and then spikes around 3:00 AM. > > > , In a message dated 4/13/2010 2:33:45 A.M.
