Guest guest
Emeril, I'd check more carefully before buying TA. I did a while back, and found that it can be unsafe to begin with, and that unscrupulous folks often harvest and sell plants that resemble TA but aren't. Add the adulteration that some packagers/marketers are guilty of, and you've multiplied your risk. And then there's the matter of how safe even the real McCoy is to take with other drugs you might be taking. It's a roll of the dice. In effect, it isn't regulated by anyone at any point in the process. And we know too well that even our beloved FDA regulation is profoundly flawed on so-called " ethical " (prescription_ drugs. ________________________________________________________________________________\ _______ > > > Hi > > > > I came across some articles relating to this herbal supplement (TONGKAT ALI) and i was thinking about ordering it but i was > > wondering if anyone has some personal experiences using this herbal supplement that they would be willing to share. > > > > Im Currently, using androgel and aside from the " skrinkage " issues that many have cited, i have been satisfied with it but looking > > for alternatives that dont have these sorts of issues. >
Guest guest
I suspected I had low T a couple of years ago but didn't know exactly how to get it treated. I had 90% if the symptoms including loss of muscle mass. My GP was clueless, so not knowing exactly what to do I decided to try Tonkat Ali. I knew that it increased muscle mass in some studies on athletes. I was very careful to avoid all the snake oil out there. I purchased my first Tongkat Ali from Pasak Bumi in Nov 2009. It had to be cycled so I took 600mg of 200:1 strength twice a day for several week then took a week off every month or 2. I walked regularly and after about 6 months of this I noticed I was putting more muscle on my legs doing the same amount of exercise (walking) I starting running up a hill in the park regularly and put on even more muscle. I also found that TA increased ejaculate volume and libido but did not do anything for erections. I still needed to use ED drugs. I also found that TA reduced blood pressure in a major way. I didn't have high BP to begin with and found my BP went too low. Like 100/64. This would cause dizziness and lethargy. I had to cut back on the dose because of this. In 2010 I had a Urologist measure my T levels and they were in the lower quartile of the range. I went off the TA for 3 weeks before the test. TA was not solving all my problems caused by low T and the low BP was annoying me so I decided to go on TRT. I found a good doc and went on 5G packets of androgel. After that I only took TA for libido and ejaculate increase. Still needed ED drugs for erections. I felt a lot better on the gel and was able to perform way better at work. Lately I have been using arimidex to improve erections with some success. I found that TA and arimidex didn't work too well together so I have now stopped using TA to avoid these interactions. Before you get too excited about TA I should mention that I gave some TA to a friend of mine. He took the large doses and there was no effect whatsoever. We are all different and my only conclusion is that TA works better for some people than others. I believe that the effects of TA are very complex and vary from one individual to the next. It may increase Free T and/or lower E2 I am not sure. I am also not sure if it would preserve testicle size for those already on TRT by stimulating ledig cells. When I take TA I feel the effect within three hours. If I take it for a few weeks then go off of it the effect lingers for 5 to 6 days. This is the most powerful herbal I have ever found. I suggest that you get some and try it but get your T levels checked first. It may be able to raise T enough to get you by but if you are really low T I don't believe any herbal is going to do the trick. Personally I am trending to the Androgel and Arimidex because I know exactly what these things do and I can get predictable results. Eventually I will need to deal with small gonads. Maybe then I will look at HCG. I don't think I am quite there yet and I havent found a doc in my area that could guide me with HCG. In any case that is my experience with Tongkat Ali. If you want to be sure of getting TA that works order it from Pasak Bumi in Indonesia. I use the 200:1 bulk extract. It is the cheapest but you may want to try a some capsules to start out until you know how it works with your body. > > > Hi > > > > I came across some articles relating to this herbal supplement (TONGKAT ALI) and i was thinking about ordering it but i was > > wondering if anyone has some personal experiences using this herbal supplement that they would be willing to share. > > > > Im Currently, using androgel and aside from the " skrinkage " issues that many have cited, i have been satisfied with it but looking > > for alternatives that dont have these sorts of issues. >

Guest guest
Dale, Thank you so much for your experience...it was great to read for many reasons: first and foremost the info on TA but secondly in providing that info you also gave me info on other stuff that i always read here in the groups posting... which is arimidex. From what i read about the arimidex has always been about lowering estigen or estroial levels but i didnt realize that this also helped with stronger erections because that is something that i have too. I totally agree with you, androgel also helped me with many of the low T issues that i had including always being tired and concentration/focus but the erections although better than with out any HRT it is not as strong as it should be. So now i have a new direction for the erections. A few other responders have also talked about HCG just like you so that is also a direction i will be considering. I think TA is not for me but i appreciate ALL of you help and knowledge/experience. > > > > > Hi > > > > > > I came across some articles relating to this herbal supplement (TONGKAT ALI) and i was thinking about ordering it but i was > > > wondering if anyone has some personal experiences using this herbal supplement that they would be willing to share. > > > > > > Im Currently, using androgel and aside from the " skrinkage " issues that many have cited, i have been satisfied with it but looking > > > for alternatives that dont have these sorts of issues. > > >
