Guest guest
Sorry but you did the wrong test Total E's is a test for women's Total E's and not any good for testing men's Estrogen's. You needed an Estradiol E2 test get a Quest Labs Sensitive Estradiol #4021 Estradiol test for men. Then range is 13 to 54 pg/ml and for most men the best range is 20 pg/ml. What kind of DIM are you taking that comes in 200 mgs I tell men to be care full about what they buy there is a lot of junk out there If your DIM is not Indolplex/DIM it might not work Indolplex/DIM gets past your stomach and does not get killed in it. You might try taking the caps apart and poring it into a spoon and adding Olive oil to it then take it it will not get kill in your stomach so fast. I tell men to use this brand I know it works. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 As for your LH and FSH as we go on Testosterone meds your brain sees this in your blood and stops sending the LH and FSH message to your testis to make Testosterone and your LH and FSH levels go down not even worth testing this on TRT. To over come the testis now working we add in HCG you should look into this it acts like LH and keeps all the cells in your body and brain working. Guys on Gels would do 250 IU's every 3 days. And if your testis still work or your base levels were up into the 300's your testis will make more testosterone and your levels will come up. How do you feel on 5 pumps 6.25 grams your levels need to be up into the upper 1/3 of your labs range your still on the low side try doing 10 grams. Here is a link to a big amount of info about Testosterone the biggest one I have see yet. http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview?id=450553 Co-Moderator Phil > From: gviceman77@... <gviceman77@...> > Subject: Estrogen lab results > > Date: Thursday, February 4, 2010, 6:42 PM > I have been on Androgel for 12 weeks > (5 pumps). > > What are the concerns with my estrogen being high (189) and > my FSH (0.7) > and LH (0.2) being low. Guest guest
First thank you for your fast response. I bought the DIM that you recommend; when should I take it AM or PM? HCG what is that? Do I need a prescription or is it a supplement? 250 IU every three days right? When should I take HCG AM or PM??? So my estrogen being 189 is not of any concern; if that number is high is my Estradiol E2 probably also high??? I am is very good shape muscular (i do weight / cardio 4 times weekly) build but having trouble getting rid of the belly fat. Guest guest
If you don't have night time and morning wood and have ED I would say your Estradiol levels are high and if you take Indolplex/DIM at dinner time in a few weeks your wood will come back this means your Estradiol levels are at there best. Now keep taking the Indloplex/DIM but if your wood stops at night in your sleep your going down to low. So stop the DIM until your wood comes back that day go back on it but cut the tablet in half. I gage my Estradiol levels by my night time and morning wood and I am 66 yrs old when my levels are good I will wake with strong wood the kind you can hang a coat on. So gage your Estradiol levels by your wood and labs. As for HCG go to www.allthingsmale.com and Read TRT A Recipe for Success and the HCG update. You need a script for this. I don't feel guys should take this without a Dr. here is a study that supports what Dr. says about it. http://jcem.endojournals.org/cgi/content/abstract/90/5/2595 The following is a copy of a post to me from Dr. to help me get my Dr. to let me try this. =================================================== He probably feels that since you suffer primary hypogonadism (I am guessing) there is no use in adding HCG to your protocol. There are several reasons why this is not so. First, you have not lost all Leydig cells, so any HCG you take will stimulate those who still function to produce endogenous testosterone. This will support testicular size. We should not ignore this aesthetic consideration. Next, if he reads my work, he will learn that HPTA-suppressed (as all TRT patients are to some extent) also suffer decreased pregenenolone levels, which is the first step after CHOL in all three hormonal pathways which begin with CHOL. HCG increases pregnenolone production, and therefore restores a more natural balance of our hormones. Next, nearly all TRT patients who add in HCG to their regimens report an increased sense of well-being and also libido. These are genuine quality of life issues. Finally, I just instinctively do not want all those LH receptors (including those we have yet to discover and appreciate) unstimulated.
