Hello everyone,

I am , Male 31 yo, living in Norway. Those of you who are also members of

the rt3_t3/NTHA-Chat/AF-groups, probably know who I am.

Right now, my legs (and entire body really) are vibrating! :-( It started 5 days

ago, and I think I need some help! Read on of you wish...

For those of you who don't know me or my details... Here are some ground facts:

1978 til present day...

* A lot of penicillin before the age of 12 (infections). I was a normal (!) kid

in elem. school.

* Got sick/fat/slow in the brain (Hypothyroid symptoms) from age 13 and up

* I was finally 280 lbs when I was 17 yo. Got diagnosed with " normal " FT4/TSH at

18 yo.

* Went to a private doc, put me on Syn-T4, and I lost 100 lbs in 1 year and

started LIVING!

* The diagnose was unclear. Some kind of Hypothyroidism. Probably cell-resistance

to T3.

* After 10 good years, in 2007, at age 28 I started feeling STRESSED for no

reason.

* Jan. 2008 at age 29, I got a serious 20-minute heart " issue " (didn't beat,

just vibrated!)

* As a result of this, the Hospital told me to quit T3 (I was on T4/T3 combo at

the time).

* They removed my T3 meds, and weened down my T4. I got worse and worse.

LAZINESS.

* June 2009 I went to Finland find a REAL doc, who then diagnosed me with AF.

Got HC.

* Got alil better from HC, worked the dose up slowly. But was still on T4.

Switched to T3.

* The theory of my new doc was: I have rT3-issues. My ratio was 15, which is 5

too low.

* A lot of heart arrhythmia (irregular pulse/extra beats) kept plaguing me on

T3-only.

* March 2010, after 4 months of T3, I went to Hertoghe in Belgium, THE HORMONE

DOC.

* He didn't believe in rT3-theories, put me on ERFA Thyroid/Testo/DHEA, since

March.

* I have improved in some ways, like I can walk for 15-20 minutes which is a

start!

* I am now on: 2 pumps (2 grams) of " Liposomal " testosterone gel 10% daily on my

shoulders, 2 grains of ERFA Thyroid, 30 mg HC (which I've been on since June

2009), 35 mg DHEA daily (but we are not sure about the dose yet), and of course,

a lot of vitamins and minerals, plus I am supposed to start taking CREON and

BEATINE for _baaad_ digestion! I am also supposed to start GROWTH HORMONE as

soon as this arrives in my mailbox. This is pretty much the complete plan for my

recovery. Hertoghe's last way out is T3-only treatment, but only if all the

other hormones fail. He believes in correcting all hormone deficienies before he

goes for the last resorts.

If you look at my s-testosterone you can see it was in the low end before

supplementing begun. Now it's at the top end. Hertoghe likes it at the top end.

He also says that it's not the total testosterone, or " index " that matters,

cause I always had a good total/index at 98% or whatever. But, it's the

s-testosterone that matters. Also, FREE Testosterone, he says. The latter is now

twice as high as the top range. Which Hertoghe says is GREAT!

Here is a link to my first bloodwork at Hertoghes ___BEFORE___ starting

Testosterone gel 10% 2 pumps / 2 grams daily, and DHEA 35 mg daily:

And here is a link to a follow-up after taking DHEA (though I stopped DHEA 1

month before drawing blood due to unwanted hair growth on my ears! an important

point!) and Testosterone for 2 months (since May 2010):

So my question is.. For those of you who have experience with hormones, and esp.

testosterone.. What's up?

MY MAIN SYMPTOM RIGHT NOW IS: Shaking/Vibrating! My right leg, especially, is

vibrating. Both legs, really, and arms too. I also sometimes feel it in the

chest. So it's been going on for 5 days, since I started DHEA 35 mg daily! I

didn't take it today, and there seems to be no difference not taking it. I was

told to start DHEA again after using it for 3 months, then I quit it, and we saw

that the DHEA Sulfate value fell down to well below the lower range. Anyway, I

figured this vibrating could be from low cortisol after reintroducing DHEA to my

body; It could make cortisol drop. But Hertoghe doesn't think that's it. He

believes I am vibrating cause I am taking too much Thyroid hormone and wants me

to drop my 5 mcg of T3 before bedtime every day. We'll see how that goes in a

few days. Could any testosterone/DHEA-issues cause this vibrating/trembling or

do I need to look elsewhere? It could also be LOW CORTISOL from STARTING DHEA

AGAIN, and as a RESULT my

Thyroid hormones are NOT TOLERATED as well as they were because I now have

lower cortisol to bring T3 into the cells. Just a personal theory. I have no

clue what's going on... :-(

ANY opinions would be greatly appreciated! I truly respect those of higher

knowledge than me.
