Hello!

Question #2 is solved by using an alligation method.

First how many grams is 2 oz?

Well 1 oz = 30g

Therefore 2 oz = 60g

(or use ratio/proportion)

Set up alligation:

2.5 =========== 1/1.5 x 60gram = 40 gram

=========2%========

1============== 0.5/1.5 x 60gram = 20 gram

===============================================

==========================---------60 gram of 2%

Answer: c. 40g of 2.5% and 20g of 1%

Question #1 can be solved in reverse:

2.5 =========== 0.75/1.25 x Y?? gram = X??? gram

=========1%========

0.25============== 1.5/1.25 x Y?? gram = 360 gram

===============================================

There are two variables Y?? and X but ultimately we are looking for X.

So I will solve the bottome equation:

1.5/1.25 x Y?? gram = 360 gram

multiply both sides by 1.25

divide both sides by 1.5

leaves

Y?? gram = 360 x 1.25

======================

===============1.5

Y?? gram = 300gram

So we now know we are going to make 300gram total

Now we will 'plug' this number back into the top equation that has

two variables and find out how much 2.5% lidocaine jelly we will use.

2.5 =========== 0.75/1.25 x 300 gram = 180 gram

=========1%========

0.25============== 1.5/1.25 x 300 gram = 360 gram

======================================================

==========================--------------= 540 gram of 1%

Please let me know if this has helped you.

Respectfully,

it at 1.5mg for 3 weeks, 3mg for the next 3 weeks, and then 4.5mg after that. I

was extremely swollen when I first started and also had a lot of pain in my

arms, from my shoulders to my finger tips. I also have Raynaud's syndrome. The

swelling and Raynaud's quickly diminished the first day after starting.

However, the pain has gotten worse. I usually wake up around 1:30AM after going

to bed around 11:00PM and can't sleep much after that because of pain, numbness,

and tingling in my arms. I take some herbal sleep aid which has always helped

me in the past. I'm also taking some herbs recommended for lupus, also some

herbs for Candida yeast, and doint coffee enemas every other day? Can anyone

tell me if their symptoms got worse at the start or is it that it's helping the

swelling and Raynaud's, but can't help more until I increase the dosage? Also,

I had been on Prednisone before for the symptoms but had stopped about three

weeks before starting LDN because the doctor said I should. Would taking a

small dosage of Prednisone for awhile keep the LDN from being effective? I am

extremely frustrated!

Hi all, I turned 33 this year. This year I have been feeling a lot diiferent

than I used to ever feel. I started losing my hair a little bit,more like

thinning out.It seemed like it happened over night. I also

have been noticing I sweat and feel hot to a much greater degree. Also a very

low libido feeling accompanied by some depression and pretty low energy. If this

is Andropause, how long can I expect it to last?

It's pretty miserable overall.

We have a few Jim's posting if you have not posted for a time. And I just seen

you just joined last month there are a lot of things that can do this to you.

I take it your not on TRT so it can be low Testosterone and high Estradiol or

low Cortsiol what is called Adrenal Fatigue and or Thyroid so having labs would

tell the story. No if you have any of the above problems they will not get

better with out some life style change or treatment. Here is a link to labs I

tell men like your self to get add to them Total T3 and T4 for thyroid then post

the results here.

In this link it's about low Testosterone.

This is about Adrenal Fatigue.

and this is about Thyroid.

If you need more info just ask.
