Guest guest
My biggest concern is the homocysteine and lp(a) as these major indicators of inflammation and cardiovascular disease. I am surprised hertogue did not implement proper treatment for this. If you are taking b-12, folate, b-6 and still not getting the results then I suspect that you have genetic mutuation in the methyl tetra hydro folate reductase. This could explain alot of symptoms neurological you may be expereince. Why people usually end up finding me because Dr's just tend to miss crucial pieces of the puzzle. > > HCT from today: 50.5 - Which is OK. I want to " double-check " them before doing anything with them. Is this the correct way of thinking? > > I also have some blood sample results from 18th of November, which is 1 month before the Hertoghe blood sample was done. The two labs (Norway and Belgium) use different measurement units, but you can compare when you look at where in the range the values are. > > Here's the link to Hertoghe's sample results fro mid December 2010 again, which was done 1 month after the locally done test results below from Norway: > > http://nightrangerweb.net/health/BlodsampleResultsHoiforsDecember2010.pdf > > > > Local blood test analyzed in Oslo, Norway on the 18th of November 2010, prior (!) to Hertoghes test in mid-December: (Done fasting in the morning) > > Cholesterol: 5.4 (3.3 -6.9 mmol/l) > Estradiol: 0.11 (<0.18 nmol/l) > Homocystein: 12.0 (5.0 - 15.0 umol/l) > Lp(a): 596* (<250 mg/L) > Vitamin A: 2.3 (>0.7 umol/l) > S-Insulin: 120 (18 - 173 pmol/l) > S-17-OH-Progesterone: 2.7 (1.8 - 10.4 nmol/l) > S-DHEA: 8.8 (5.3 - 31.7 nmol/l) > S-DHEA-Sulfate: 8.6 (1.6 - 12.0 umol/l) > S-SHBG: 17 (8 - 60 nmol/l) > S-Testosterone: 15 (8 - 35 nmol/l) - This is TOTAL Testosterone, right Phil? I did Vitamin A, D (which both seemed low in Hertoghes sample) as well as Ferritin (also low on Hertoghes sample) and Estradiol (very high on Hertoghes sample) today at the GPs. Along with fasting serum electrolytes. I will get the results in some days. I don't want to start Arimidex til I get a confirmation that YES, my E2 _IS_ indeed high, like it was on Hertoghes sample. > > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
I will only talk about your E2 labs this one I don't feel is anygood " Estradiol: 0.11 (<0.18 nmol/l) " it looks like a womens test and I never seen them units before can't even find a way to convert them onto pg/ml. Your 69 pg/ml is dam high. Co-Moderator Phil > From: Gibcast <gibcast@...> > Subject: Bloodsample results > > Date: Monday, January 10, 2011, 9:02 AM > HCT from today: 50.5 - Which is OK. Guest guest
So no wonder why I feel so bad right? I want to blame sinus infection but I dont have terrible pain when I lean forward, and I 've had sinus infections before so.. .I feel this is a " new " kind of suffering. I bet it's E2 doing SOMETHING. HCT was 50.5 today (range: 40 - 50) so that was not half bad. It was 55 last week and 60 this summer, so...... - Trying to find out what's causing my baaaadness atm. > From: Gibcast <gibcast@...> > Subject: Bloodsample results > > Date: Monday, January 10, 2011, 9:02 AM > HCT from today: 50.5 - Which is OK.
