Guest guest
Hi all, I have low T and I inject the Enanthate T. I have been all over the place with this. I used the gel at first, but I have no insurance so the $277/month was too much. My problem is getting my doc to get the rights tests ordered and monitor me. I have some side effects such as weight gain every time I inject whether it's 25, 50 or 100 and whether it's once a week, every 10 days or once every two weeks. At 25 there wasn't much in the way side effects, but some - gained about 3 pounds in three days. Mostly what happens is the weight goes up, my breathing feels " labored " and the palms sweat the day after the shot. 2-3 days post-shot it gets a bit better (the sweating stops) and the breathing is a bit better and the weight stabilizes. The weight gradually goes up though through day 14 post-shot. The side effects (if that's what they are) become stronger at about 10-12 days after the shot - that's pretty much when my weight gain peaks. Then at about 13-14 days the weight goes back down and the breathing feels fine. I'm 5'8 " and my weight is about 150. When I first started on the injections, my weight jumped 9 pounds (from 138 to 147) in about 3 days. My doc told me to stop or extend the time between shots (I was injecting 50mg every week). I went from 50 to 25 once a week, The side effects were better (though still there), but I didn't seem to be getting much T benefit. I tried that for two weeks and decided to go the other way and see what happens. I injected 100mg and it's now been 16 days. The breathing issue/weight gain was there and it lasted pretty the whole two weeks. The weight went up from 147 to 153 and now it's back down to 148. So.. I have no idea if I should stop (which I don't want to do), and why (what's causing the side effects) and how I can control the side effects. 1) Any insight as to what's happening to me (I can provide more detail if you have questions)? 2) Can I continue with the next shot - maybe at a lower dosage (say 50)? 3) Does anyone know of a doctor in the greater Indianapolis area (my zip is 46123) that they can recommend; a doctor who has a lot of experience with this? Thanks, Bill
Guest guest
Hi Bill and Welcome, Go to the home page on the left side is a Database Section in this open the Physician Reference see if one is listed there. Or go to the files section and read " Finding a New Male Hormone Dr. " but after you read this call first and ask questions like do they test for high Estradiol and if high treat with Arimidex and for men that are Secondary do they use HCG you will know if you have a good one. Or drive or fly out to see Dr. at www.allthingsmale.com he is the best and if you can see him once the rest he can do by phone of see if a Dr. you know will work with him over the phone to treat you.
