Guest guest
I sent my doctor an email, and this was his reply: Ed, I am glad that you are taking the initiative in looking into this. I am not sure what I would do with the results. I would be happy to refer you to a urologist if you like, though I am not sure they would be better with this battery of tests. I was wondering if I could have my blood work done again to check for other hormones, Total T, Free T, LH, FSH, SHBG, Prolactin, & Estradiol (E2). I have been reading on the subject in a mens forum, I have learned that if any of these hormones are not within a certain range, it can play havoc with the sex drive, especially E2. I read that the correct T/E2 ratio is pertinent, and that it is common for older men to have more T converted to E2. Regards, Ed
