Guest guest
Hola to all Board Members! I ran into this product and the articles claim it is a cell detoxer, mainly of estrogens and they recommend its use together with DIM or similar products. This is the article I found: http://findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0KFY/is_12_19/ai_82476436/ My question to the Board is: has any of you tried out this product? If yes, what were the doses used? Did it work? Any side effects? Any precautions? Thanks in advance!! Flaco

Guest guest
Barb: Thanks for your reply! If I may ask, is your hubby on DIM? If yes, is he also on TRT? If yes, which form of TRT (shots, creams, etc)? How much DIM is he taking? I have 75 mg capsules. I am a little afraid of taking too much and going south with my E2 (I did it in one occassion several years ago; I just do not remember how much I took). My E2 is going high because I increased my TRT dose (compounded cream) and my T went from about 500 to 1,400; so, I am producing more E2 (last test showed it at 47 which was about 3 weeks from the TRT increase; that was the E2 value when I had the T=1,400 (right at the upper limit for T)). I am having erection problems for about 2 months. Desire is there!! No doubt about it. I am also having the " cloud in my head " sensation. Since this is also allergy season, I tend to confuse the symptoms. I took one DIM capsule on Sunday and I felt better; still, erection problems. I was afraid to take one today since my breasts are completely flat (other way I gauge my E2). Any advice will be appreciated!! > > > > Hola to all Board Members! > > > > I ran into this product and the articles claim it is a cell detoxer, mainly of estrogens and they recommend its use together with DIM or similar products. Guest guest
If you got this brand Indolplex/DIM and take one every day until your wood works again then keep taking it when you go to low your wood will stop this is when you stop the DIM. When the wood comes back that day take the DIM again but cut the tablet in half yes Indolplex/DIM comes in a tablet you can cut. Then from then on gage you E2 by your wood if you get weaker wood with sore and hard nipples or breast problems you know your going to high again so go back to the full tablet. http://www.iherb.com/Enzymatic-Therapy-Pure-Rip-with-DIM-60-Tablets/12814?at=0 You can also add in TMG this helps your liver wash out the E's that the DIM converts that the DIM at diner and the TMG at bedtime. http://www.myvitanet.com/tmgtr75120ca.html Co-Moderator Phil > From: rndchemist <no_reply > > Subject: Re: Calcium d-Glucarate > > Date: Monday, August 16, 2010, 4:58 PM > Barb: > > Thanks for your reply! > > If I may ask, is your hubby on DIM? Guest guest
Phil: Thanks! The DIM I bought is this one: http://www.energeticnutrition.com/vitalzym/dim.html So, I should take the DIM at night? I was taking it in the morning. I will start tonight then. I will finish the Calcium d-Glucarate and then I will see which way to go. I will take this one in the morning. > > > > > > > > Hola to all Board Members! > > > > > > > > I ran into this product and the articles claim it > > is a cell detoxer, mainly of estrogens and they recommend > > its use together with DIM or similar products. Yes, 100 mg DIM from Source Naturals twice a day, so 200 mg daily > he also on TRT? If yes, which form of TRT (shots, creams, etc)? 32 mg TC shot every 4 days > I took one DIM capsule on Sunday and I felt better; still, erection problems. I was afraid to take one today since my breasts are completely flat (other way I gauge my E2). Lucky you! I can just look at DH and tell when his E2 is up because of his breasts! Now it's hard to tell if that's fat or muscle. When he did the cream he did a smaller amount twice a day, but just got tired of always putting it on. The shots are more convenient, that's for sure. Guest guest
Well, after 6 days taking DIM and the calcium (I went to 2 caps a day on both on Friday from 1 cap a day on both from Mon-Thu), this morning I can declare VICTORY!! I was able to make love to my lovely wife without any ED issues!!! Very comforting feeling to say the least!! I feel so relaxed now!! Thank you Phil and Barb for your guidance on this (on the use of these two OTC compounds, I mean!! Not on the other part, if you catch my drift!! ;o)). Now I need to monitor to see if I need 2 a day or a combination of 2 a day with 1 a day through out the week. Maybe four days a week with 2 a day and three days with one a day. Again, thanks!! Guest guest
Yeah, thanks Flaco. It's encouraging to those who have this issue. I'm happy for you. Are you on TRT? Or are you just taking the DIM to control your E2? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > I get tested for > > > thyroid every year. I was hyperthyroidic for > > > years. Took Tapazole to control it. I am off it > > > for over 10 years now. So far so good. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Most people who've been > > > on ATD and then go into remission usually have hypo > > > labs. TSH is fine, but TSH doesn't tell the whole > > > story. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > If I were low in > > > thyroid function I should be gaining weight, correct? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Not necessarily, when I > > > was at my lowest dose of thyroid (1/2 grain), I was > > > ultra-thin and gaunt. Now at 2 grains I weigh 15 lbs > > > more (but look healthier)! That's because in some, > > > when thyroid is low, cortisol goes low too, so adrenaline is > > > secreted to compensate. So some hypos get fat, others > > > get thin. Same with cholesterol, high or low can be > > > hypo, pulse too because of adrenaline. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Barb > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------ > > > > > >
