Guest guest
Hey all I'm new to the group and looking for some answers or insight. I was diagnosed with pituitary tumor in 1988 - I am hypo-everything. Have been on TRT and Thyroid replacement since 1989. Was on HGH for 2.5 yrs and gained height and back on normal track - was 5'1 " at age 18 and looked like a junior high kid - grew 10 " over that time. Am now 5'11 " . New endo put me on HGH again in 2006 and have been on it since. In 2006 new endo also put me on daily cortisone recently changed to hydrocortisone. Have been fighting low energy and I believe low-grade depression all my life - am now 40 yrs old. Since 1988 have been on TRT - shots from 1988 til 2005 and changed to Androgel 5 pumps daily. Recently changed to testopel. All this time I have had low T results - average about 275, one time was 800. First results after testopel was below normal 226 - last week - endo said to test again in 3 months. Currently on: Testopel - 10 pellets Lexothyrine - 150mcg Hydrocortisone - 30-35mg daily (feel much better on higher doses - trying to find a balance 35mg may be the number) Desmopressin Vitamins: Men's multivitamin vit C vit D vit B100 complex Omega-3 Fish Oil Endo stated I was on more Androgel than needed to be but test results still not high enough - 275-300 range. Anyone have any suggestions as to why my T level continues to remain low? Thanks for your help, Hank
