Guest guest
Guys I'm the guy who went on T shots 3-1/2 years ago (after waiting 5 years after successful Prostate Cancer surgery). The shots worked great for the 3-1/2 years and it made a big difference in my overall sense of well-being, etc. Last summer my PSA started to edge up (it had been NIL for 8 years) and after the PSA got to .30 I decided to pull off T shots altogether. 2 months after the last T shot, the latest PSA is back to NIL so I'm left with a dilemma - I feel pretty much like crap and my libido went back in the toilet but am a little apprehensive about going back on the shots. While it's hard to definitely say that the shots alone cause my T to go up (and the reading never went that high anyway), my endo suggested I try Gel instead of shots. However, I've read so much on this site about how Gel doesn't work that great for some people. I'm tempted to just go back on the shots (I was pretty low dose at .30ML/weekly)but am a little skittish. I'm thinking about trying for a new endo or urologist who might better help me through this - does anyone know of an endo or urologist in the Dallas area to may be adept at guiding men with a 'history' such as mine?
