Hey Bud, any health food store should carry copper. all I did was walk in and

ask and they had plenty. Believe I got 3 mg tablets. I don't think more

mainstream places like wal-mart and rite aid carry it. And I believe for every

50 mg's of Zinc you should balance it with 3 mg's of copper. But I can't say 4

sure....

may help with insulin sensitivity, and prostate problems--will experience a

reduction in copper levels. So you need to take a copper supplement (say 3 mg)

to restore that loss.

don't find copper alone.  Just one product combining " Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc

and Copper. "  But it gave 100% RDA of the other minerals, while only 50% RDA of

the copper (1mg). To get the 3mg I find I need--RDA's are often too low--I'd

need to take three times the RDA for these other minerals!!!!

> My multivit/mineral pill also already gives me 100% RDA of zinc but only 35%

of copper.

> Does anyone know a chain that stocks plain(?) copper tablets--or how else are

people dealing with this need?

I don't buy from them stores there 3x's the cost of getting them off the web.

For every 50 mgs of Zinc you need to add in 2 mgs of Copper and it's best not to

take them at the same time. I use ZMA for my Zinc it's the best out there I

take this at bedtime and the Copper at noon.
