Ditropan and PSA

A while back my urologist prescribed Ditropan, presumably for problems with

urination; I have BPH, likely prostatis, VERY low testosterone (70 last summer),

and had a PSA of 20(?) 2-3 years ago, which has come down, but VERY slowly,

reading at 10 last June--after the biopsy at 20 proved negative.

I happened to Google about Ditropan before buying it--and would swear I came up

with a site or two noting that it can raise PSA (something that's clearly among

the last things I want to do). Never bought or took the stuff, but now I can't

find those sites again, and am wondering if I imagined the interaction or

something...

Now I can't find those sites again.  Is anyone familiar with this supposed

side-effect?

Many thanks,

With BPH has your dr even looked and estrodial levels as well as the estrogen

metabolites ? In phils case and many other mens cases it is not dht that is the

culprit but rather elevated levels of e2 that can irritate the prostate. Due to

genetic malfunction people can have predisposition to bad estrogens as I do. In

these case DIM may help relieve BPH symptoms. I also use nettles root extract

to help keep things flowing.
