Guest guest Posted February 4, 2002 Report Share Posted February 4, 2002 I'm probably not the best one to ask about this... I go real easy on the antifungals cuz I can't take the brain fog! Apparently, most people get relief by using psyllium and bentonite... but psyllium doesn't do the " bulk " thing for me (bran works, but you can't exactly get that in mix form!)... and bentonite constipated me *badly*, which defeats the purpose (holds the toxins in that much longer). Colonics also help a lot, but they are not in my budget right now :^( Some brave souls here do their own enema/colonic at home... perhaps they can offer some tips. > > Thanks .;-)..is there anyway to alleviate it...lol..i am probably asking the wrong question...and the sickness and the dizziness.. > --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest Posted August 2, 2006 Report Share Posted August 2, 2006 Joyce wrote: > > I went to have a treadmill test today, and couldn't finish it after 2 minutes because of feeling like I couldn't breathe but nothing was > wrong. I have been diagnosed as having low T3 but my regular doc won't do anything about it. I am going through menopause, and my last regular period was last February. I just had another one, and during all that time, I ended up with panic attacks at 3 in the morning, extreme fatigue, and indigestion with not being able to breathe feelings. I have an irregular heartbeat now. I started spotting again yesterday with it being my fifth day of not using progesterone, as the routine goes for the month of taking it. I ended up with those panic attacks again with fast heartbeats, and a closing of the throat again.I know this is hormonal but no one is listening to me. I have tried Armour but that was disastrous too. Any suggestions? ==>First, do not take progesterone unless you get tested as to much you need. It is too easy to get too much which throws off hormone balances tremendously - do a search at www.mercola.com on progesterone where he discussed it. ==>Sounds like you have tremendous stress, so I suggest you do Breathing exercises regularly, especially humming to increase nitric oxide in your nose, and nose breathing. Nitric oxide is made in the nost and it's the same as nitro glycerin given to heart patients to regulate their heart beat. See our folder on Breathing on how to do the exercises. These exercises also switch off your body's production of adrenaline and slows everything down so you avoid panic attacks, breathing difficulties, closing of the throat, etc. Also take epsom salts baths and ensure you are taking enough magnesium. You probably need 500 mg in divided doses of mag and maybe 175 mg of calcium twice a day. Magnesium from epsom salt baths and supplements will greatly help your tension levels, and help your body calm down. Magnesium is nature's lullaby substance. ==>And it goes without saying that you take the recommended supplements, including ocean sea salt for the 84 minerals, and that you are not taking anything else, including drugs, and that you stick to the diet. Guest guest Posted December 27, 2010 Report Share Posted December 27, 2010 When everything else fails (all hormones are OK, more rest does not improve fatigue, etc), I take Nuvigil to help me get my energy and mood up. I usually take it for a few days and then stop it by cutting the dose by quarters. It is an amazing drug. I think you can get a free 30 day supply trial with a prescription if you visit Nuvigil.com Sent via Blackberry > > > > > > Too > > > > > > > > fat? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi Phil > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > to cut a > > > > long story > > > > > > short, i > > > > > > > > saw a > > > > > > > > > > rubbish dr > > > > > > > > > > > > today, in > > the UK > > > > regarding my > > > > > > low T > > > > > > > > levels. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > latest > > > > test result > > > > > > at 9am, > > > > > > > > 8.3, range > > > > > > > > > > 7.5 - 27 I > > > > > > > > > > > > think. > > Oestradiol > > > > last month > > > > > > was 48, > > > > > > > > range > > > > > > > > > > 50-several > > > > > > > > > > > > hundred. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > this dr > > > > said all my > > > > > > prboelms > > > > > > > > were down > > > > > > > > > > to being > > > > > > > > > > > > > > overweight, all of > > > > them. he > > > > > > was very > > > > > > > > rude and > > > > > > > > > > unpleaant. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > i am > > > > 260lbs. my T > > > > > > is 8.3. > > > > > > > > when I was at > > > > > > > > > > 224lbs, > > > > > > > > > > > > my T was > > 9.2 . Guest guest Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 Trudy.. the visual is a petri dish! You are just one big petri dish right now full of viruses, bacteria, fungi and organisms! These drugs are so good at knocking your immune system for a loop and bringing all sorts of side effects with it. You're almost done and you'll be able to just settle down again. Take the time to do it right okay? Everything in moderation. Hugs,Teri Why do I get the feeling that you are laughing over the moderation comment? Guest guest Posted January 13, 2011 Report Share Posted January 13, 2011 TrudyOh how I remember that fatigue!!! We had put a mattress, pillow and sleeping bag in the back of my Explorer, so that I could just crawl in during one of the 12 hr trips to the Clinic. Something that was really neat about the Explorer, is that it has tinted windows. No one would ever know that I was sleeping in there. Came in real handy one time when I was just too tired to keep going. I stopped at a rest spot, locked the doors and climbed into the back with 2 dogs. Then, I feel asleep for 4 hours!! I was stunned that I could actually do that.By the way - there are still times when life stresses me so much that I hit the bed and don't get up for over 18 hrs. It's not so much anything to do with HepC and it's not the cancer, plain and simple it's stress.Gloria Thx Gloria. I kinda figure it will take 4-6 weeks till there is a noticable improvement.
