Guest guest
Jenni, you need the 3cc for the mixing of the HCG. The 30g 5/16 1cc is good for the injections.See what's free at AOL.com.
Guest guest
Those exact recommended needle sizes by KT are not so very important IMO. I use a 27guage 1 1/4" 3cc, but it's just my personal preference for IM injections. Yes, you can mix a 175iu dosage in a volume of 1cc from a a 1500 iu ampoule (it would require 8.57ml of Bacteriostatic water). http://www.hcgsupplies.com sells kits that offer a choice of needle sizes that are very close to the sizes that you quoted. They also have a mixing guide that gives examples of how to mix several possible dosages. Shipping is free also. >> I am having trouble finding the 30g 1" 3cc syringes. The closest I can find are the 30g 5/16" 1cc...do I need the 3cc? If I read the files right a 175IU dose from 1500 IU ampoule is 1cc...right? > I thought I knew exactly what I needed, but now that I am ready to buy, I find myself confused.> > Thanks,> Jenni>
Guest guest
Jai, You can inject all around sides of belly button area....just not the same place each time. That is what my doc told me to do. I am now also injecting into various areas in upper thigh areas. Just take two fingers in left hand to pinch up the fat then inject w/the other hand. Reverse if left handed, of course. Guest guest
My syringes are 28g. 1/2 inch. They still take some time to fill, but the trade off is less pain on the shoot. Your get the hang of filling the syringe in time. I inject a full syringe of air into the vial before I draw the oil. I believe this may create more pressure inside the vial, at least a newer vial of T. > > Good day to all, new member here, I have primary hypogandism and I take shots. Guest guest
Wow, that's a skinny needle! I'm surprised you get the oil+T through it. I use a 22 gauage needle to draw out of the vial and I then swap to a 25 gauge needle for injections. It comes out fairly quickly with the 22 gauge needle. It takes about 10-15 seconds for me to get 50mg in the syringe. I always put in a little more air (not a lot) than I need. For example, I pull the empty syringe back to about 0.3 on my scale (I use the 200ng/ml stuff so I inject 0.25ml to get 50mg). I insert the 22 gauge needle into the vial, push in the air and draw back to about 0.4. It sucks the T back into the syringe - I let it fill to at least 0.30. Then I get the air bubble to the top and push the plunger until I get all the air out and get to 0.25ml. I take the needle out of the vial and pull back a bit so as to get all the T out of the needle and back into my syringe. I swap needles and follow standard procedures to inject; get the air out, check for blood, swab with alcohol, think about how I wish I could use gel . I tried using a 27 gauage needle to withdraw and inject when I first started this - it took an annoyingly long time so I switched to my current method. I see that almost every person does it this way (check out Youtube for videos on how people inject T). Guest guest
Everyone has there way of doing this if I had to use your size needle I would not be doing shots. Using the 27g I pull the plunger all the way down and hold it takes about 2 min's at the most to get .4mls of T for my shot. Guest guest
The 25 gauge isn't too bad.  I do like the 27 gauge better, but I was told to use the 25 gauge because it's 1 " long; essentially I was told to use a 1 " needle, that .5 " is too short. If I could find 27 gauge 1 " long needles, that would be the ticket! Guest guest
I don't know what brand Walgreen sells but if you can get the BD brain 27g 1ml x 1/2 " lg. needle it works fine for me been using it for 7 yrs now never a problem. That dose you said .08mls it can't be right don't you mean .8 mls this would be 160mgs and doing this dose every 2 weeks is dam old we don't do shots every 2 weeks anymore. Try doing 100 mgs .5 mls every week see if you don't feel better. Even in the AACE Guildelines on page 11 it says to do shot every 7 to 10 days. I do mine every 3 days because it keeps me more leveled and holds down my Estradiol levels. Have you ever test this if not get it tested. If your very high it takes away any good the T shots are doing for you and kills your sex life gives one ED. http://www.aace.com/pub/pdf/guidelines/hypogonadism.pdf Using a 27g needle I just pull the plunger all the way down and hold it takes less then 2 min's to get my dose.
