Guest guest
This is a continuation of " My Journey begins thread " I live in Canada on the West coast. It took a month but I finally got to see an Endo today. He looked at the results below and said that I was in the " normal range " for T and Free T but he was willing to give me T based on my symptoms. He offered a trial of shots or Gel. I asked " How often are the shots " ? His answer 3 weeks. I thought to myself " 3 weeks, that seem insane from what I have read here " so I opted for Androgel. I am to try the gel for 3 months and report back but he does not plan to do any labs after that. Just check symptoms. Doesn't seem right to me, but at least I have the Gel for now. I can check labs myself via Labcorp in the US if I need to. I already did this for my E2. There was a short conversation about the E2 test I had done on my own. He seems amused by this and I explained that high E2 causes erectile failure and I was curious about the number. He did not seem to be aware of the effects of E2 at all and went on with the next discussion. I asked if HCG was an option but got nowhere with that one. In any case, he was willing to treat based on symptoms and not labs and I have Androgel in my hot little hands and I can start TRT and see what the results are. Does anyone know how many pumps I should use? ANy comments about this Endo?
