Could arimidex be that touchy

Damn, I started arimidex again on wednesday after laying off it three days and

attaining some good morning wood. I felt what I thought to be a little libido

the day after taking it. Well I figured I would try 1/4mg every other day, and

took my second dose Friday. Well tonight was not too good. It was just a whole

lot of effort for what eventually was not a very firm erection. I felt like my

wife was frustrated with having to work so hard. She did say she was satisfied

though after wards. This is getting real frustrating for me. It has never been

this bad before. I mean Viagra is completely useless. And it was working so good

just a few short months ago. Could I have built up a tolerance to it? I guess I

need to take 1/4mg every third day. Wow, I can't believe it can be that strong.

Maybe I should just take DIM again. You guys said that E2 is hard to control,

you weren't kidding.

PS: does anyone think that I could have thrown my neural transmitter system out

of whack from taking Zoloft for 6 years. As you can tell, I am at my wits end.

I do have some HCG coming, and am will to give this a try.

1/4 every 3 days might be right for you, or 1/8 a pill per day. There are

liquid versions of Arimidex too, and they're easier to dose-

but, to date, there are only " research supplies " versions of liquid Arimidex.

No you just went to low again after stopping Arimidex because you lost wood when

it comes back that day go back on the arimidex if you were doing .25 mgs every 2

days start back on every 3 days now it's possable to go to low again fast so

stop again when wood comes back go to every 4 days.

If you hit every 5 days this this still happens switch to having your Arimidex

compounded so you can take a low dose everyday or switch to Indolplex/DIM start

with one tablet at dinner time if you lose wood again stop then go back on it

but cut the tab in half.

Compounding Arimidex

Most compounding pharmacies will require a prescription from a doctor, before

they do this.

Once your prescription says " 300 caps x 0.1mg " or " 600 caps x 0.05mg "

anastrozole " from 1 to 4 daily " , (anastrozole = generic arimidex) then they will

compound your arimidex, or generic anastrozole, and they will usually supply the

arimidex as compounded into the caps you require.

My compounding pharmacist was prepared to allow me to supply the arimidex too.

If you have several boxes of arimidex in your cupboard, then you may want to ask

your pharmacist to do this for you.

If you don't have any arimidex stores, then just let the compounding pharmacy

supply the whole lot.

A pack of 30 tabs of 1.0mg arimidex will give 300 caps at 0.1mg-per-cap, or 600

caps at 0.05mg-per-cap.

So if your pharmacy chooses to supply arimidex as opposed to generic

anastrozole, then your pharmacy will most likely not agree to only charge you

for a half-a-box of arimidex, and most likely they'll charge for a whole box,

even if your prescription says 300 caps at 0.05mg-per-cap (total of 15mg)
