Guest guest
I've been very hungry since starting trt, what causes it? Nothing seems to satisfy me, I had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich before followed my some multigrain crackers followed immediately by a huge bowl of fiber one cereal. wtf? Guest guest
cpuld be an insulin response if you are taking too much testosterone OR it could be your body metabolism speeding up potential over the long haul may alter your thyroid function as well which needs to be monitored properly > > I've been very hungry since starting trt, what causes it? Guest guest
Another thing is that as soon as I wake up I have to eat. I'm supposed to take my thyroid meds on empty stomach but I can only wait at most 5 minutes before I have to eat. It could also be psychological as I stopped smoking 6 months ago and I've replaced smoking right away with food? > > > > I've been very hungry since starting trt, what causes it? Guest guest
I thought fiber was good for you and decreased hunger? I work out at the gym 4 days a week and have lost alot of weight over last six months and I think this is because my doc started me on double the recommended amount of testosterone. > > You are eating the wrong things... when I started TRT I had the same > problem... Guest guest
Good idea on the water, I'm gonna try that. I have very low total cholesterol which is under 120 consistently. I think it's hereditary but also due to my hypothyroidism as well. > > andrenym007, > Good for you on quitting smoking. Have you checked your glucose level in > the morning? Guest guest
Correction: and I think the increased hunger is because my doc started me on double the recommended amount of testosterone. > > > > You are eating the wrong things... when I started TRT I had the same > > problem... Guest guest
Going from unhealthy to healthy puts one in an anabolic state. That makes you want food. Your body is telling you it wants a nutrient or nutrients it is not getting. Be well! Guest guest
My Dad us to tell me I have two hollow legs I can't remember ever being full. A sandwich some cereal and Crackers. I need to follow Weight Watchers Program and count all the food I eat or I would be eating all day long but I have been this way all my life. Guest guest
Good point about the water I even add a 1/2 tsp full of good Sea Salt to my water first thing in the morning. If your not drinking enough water a day and your dehydrated your going to feel like crap.
