On what day do you do your labs I do them the morning of my next Test C shot. I

have seen my PSA do this when I had sex the day before labs even 2 days before

labs. I ask this because doing shots once a week your labs were over 1000 now

your doing shots every 3 days and your less then half.

This tells me when you were doing your shots by the week you did your labs to

soon after your shot. You need to do labs the morning of your next shot but

before it.

Right now your TT levels are very low but your Free T is up this is because your

Estradiol is not to high. Still Free T is only 1 to 2% of your Total T so the

lower your Total T is the less Free T you have.

Your Estraidol at 15 for me is great but my SHBG is on the lower side 20 the

lower your SHBG the lower you need to keep your Estradol. When my Estradiol

levels are to low I can't get it up taking Viagra. It is dead if you don't have

night time and morning wood or you can't get it up for sex stop the Arimidex

until your night time wood comes back then go back on it but take it every 4

days.

I would not get upset about PSA levels you need to be leveled on your Hormones

then test this. Don't have sex a few days before doing PSA test.

Yrs. ago when my PSA went up they did a tuessu test not fun nothing showed up

wrong.

Thank you Phil:

I did my PSA test 2 days after any sex, nor any bike riding which I have not

done in years.

I did my Test labs on the morning of my next T shot.

I am concerned because my PSA has gone from 0.7 to 1.9 in only 9 months.

That

is an increase of almost 300%.

For me do u think that going back to one shot weekly is better than every 3rd

day?  And my Endo suggested to stop the Arimidex since my Estradiol is low at

15.  could the loe E2 be causing me to have night sweats again?????

While the " velocity " or rate of change can be a concern, you are still at half

the PSA level that raised a cancer concern.

PSA levels under 4 ng/mL: " normal "

4 to 10 ng/mL: 20 to 30% risk

10 to 20 ng/mL: 50 to 75% risk

Above 20 ng/mL: 90%.

• PSA velocity monitors changes in PSA over time. PSA levels rise more rapidly

in men with prostate cancer than in other men. To be most effective, PSA should

be measured at least three times over a two-year period to calculate PSA

velocity. Research has found that about 70% of men with a PSA velocity of 0.75

ng/mL or greater have cancer when PSA is 4 to 10 ng/mL. But only about 50% of

men with a PSA velocity below 0.75 ng/mL per year have cancer. The test is used

primarily to determine the need for a repeat biopsy in those with PSA levels

between 4 to 10 ng/mL and a prior negative biopsy.

I don't feel your shots every 3 days has any thing to do with this. And I don't

think much about Endo's for low Testosterone. You need pice of mind so yes see

your Uro if you don't this will drive your nuts it did me in until my tests came

back good. I have seen 7 Endo's on the 29 yrs on TRT every new Dr. I seen sent

me to see one. Each one took me off TRT would not even look at my labs told me

they were no good I need to come off TRT and do labs at there lab. WTF today I

know you don't do this and them 7 Endos I seen were so full of it.

Telling me they needed a base line set of labs no such thing each time I was off

TRT I ended up worse off then before I seen them and each time I ended up off

work on Sick Leave.

I talk to tons of men on the forums about low T and every week I read about

someone seeing an Endo and in bad shape. I read a lot of replys to them men not

to work with an Endo the are not good Dr.'s for low T.

Yet this yr. I read here some guy found a good one but in all the yrs I have

been posting this is just one.

Thank you Phil;

The Endo i am going to is good.  He DOES believe in TRT for men.  The question

is that my E2 of 15 is that too low?  I know taht E2 around 22 is good and that

everyone reacts differently.

I am concerned because my PSA has increrased almost 3 fold in only 9 months.

There have been 7 labs done in the last 9 months and the PSA gas been increasing

for the last 6 months.

If your Estraidol was to low you would not be able to get it up slaming a door

on it. If you can get it up and keep it up your not to low. But it would not

hurt you to stop taking arimidex for a few days to a week just look out for

things that show your going to high.
