Guest guest
I hear people say you can get a moon face on HC meds. I read the book front to back " Safe Uses of Cortisol " never one word about this moon face and it never happened to me. Coming off HC meds you need to do this slow so you don't go into Adrenal Crisis read #39 in this FAQ's how to do this. http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/adrenal-info/faq/ But I never took to much HC meds here is a link I found it states one gets this moon face from taking to much HC meds or the wrong kind. http://www.addisonssupport.com/#nabble-td5475155 Co-Moderator Phil > From: Rouse <michael.hugh.rouse@...> > Subject: Question for Barb or Phil > > Date: Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 11:37 PM > Hey Guys, > > I was able to reduce my HC down to 20 mg and am planning on > getting off of > it soon. Guest guest
puffy face is not the same like moon. puffy is from hypothyroid, moon from too much cortisol. > > > From: Rouse <michael.hugh.rouse@...> > > Subject: Question for Barb or Phil > > > > Date: Wednesday, April 13, 2011, 11:37 PM > > Hey Guys, > > > > I was able to reduce my HC down to 20 mg and am planning on > > getting off of > > it soon. Guest guest
Great pix, but still hard to tell the difference if someone is overweight! , since you said you had a buffalo hump, I'd go with high cortisol. If you go to Wal-Mart, you will see both types of face everywhere!
