Guest guest
In working on my apparent severe zinc deficiency I've noticed some positive results. I wake up feeling refreshed, I sleep better and I need less Arimidex. The better control over excess estraidol is interesting as it seems the zinc deficiency allowed estradiol to go so wild. I also notice that I feel less stressed and need less hydrocortisone (although too much zinc at one time will lower my cortisol too much). My sense of smell is much better too. I'm going to get the zinc taste test liquid to better assess status. I found a study on it correlating to zinc levels, so it's not bunk. So far I just crush up my zinc tablets before swallowing them and can barely taste them. As I take more zinc throughout the day I can finally start to notice a tingle and a slight zinc taste after I swallow the pills. Come next morning they'll have no taste. I did a zinc tally a long time ago and wanted to vomit from the zinc taste that appeared within seconds of putting the liquid in my mouth, so something has changed since then. I found myself full of tons of worsened symptoms that are lifting with zinc when I found out my ferritin was in the 40s last summer and I started taking iron. My biggest complaint was waking up so dead tired, nauseous and unable to eat many mornings. I also started to develop angular cheilitis and I found wounds weren't healing so quickly. Have others looked into their zinc status? Seems like it would be pretty important for us as testosterone production is hurt when there's a deficiency. -Nigel
