Guest guest
I have no idea where this silly idea comes from, but not only does it not happen, IF it did, the doctor would probably go to prison for it (on top of losing his/her medical license)! In fact, no industry is as closely controlled as pharmaceutical sales. Having said that, the industry is also protected by the FDA, which serves in ways contrary to the public good. Regulatory control bought and paid for with lobbyist dollars (to Republicans and Democrats). So they tightly control the Sales Reps at the bottom of the ladder, but let the corporate boardrooms run wild. This is why a medication which has never been shown to hurt anyone, is used successfully in other countries all over the world, and is quite inexpensive, is banned by the FDA. Why? It competes with a product from a pharmaceutical company (a product which is quite dangerous to women). The banned medication: Estrone. A naturally occurring substance, present in the bodies of all human beings. Go figure. Be well!
