Guest guest
I'm new to all of this and I may start TRT soon. I'm confused though about people with High cholesterol and low testosterone. I'm 36 and have been on cholesterol meds for the last few years. I'm not overweight, don't smoke, don't drink much but high cholesterol runs in my family. The thing is though that my meds for this haven't helped a whole lot since I started on them. Can low testosterone be a factor in those with high cholesterol. Also I've read that TRT can lower the HDL " good " levels which which would be bad in my case. It also states though that TRT can help in reduction of heart disese. This info is confusing as it sort of contradicts itself. Anyone have any info about the relationship between cholesterol and low test. and if this should be a deciding factor in whether or not I start TRT therapy or not? Thanks.
