Guest guest
Hi there Phil / Lads First of all, my apologies, Phil - I know you like to keep all the information under the same thread, but I am not able to find my original thread and at the moment I am having problems posting to the group from the web site. Well - quick update from my last endo appointment. As a reminder, I take the following meds: cabergoline 1mg per week Testogel (2 sachets per day) ferrous sulphate 200mg tds The endo is not happy for me to discontinue treatment with ferrous sulphate. Although the usual therapy is six months, he advised that it takes much longer than this to get the levels up. He did suggest reducing the dose to 2 pills per day but as I am not experiencing side effects with them, he would like the therapy to continue at 3 pills per day until further notice. According to him, this could be years. More recently I have been diagnosed with pernicious anaemia. I doubt by GP would ever have spotted this, but the endo has done a fine job of it and from this point forward I will receive B12 shots. I do these myself. At the moment I am doing these every other day but eventually I will do them on a three monthly basis (just one shot every three months). My T levels were way high and he has suggested a reduction in dose of the gel to one and a half sachets per day. I still have severe ED and cold penis and scrotum - (hi ) mentioned this a while back I think. The endo wants to tackle the above issues first before we move on to the rest. So - this cold penis thing, does anybody else get it and if so, has it stopped and if so, how did it stop (what meds did you take)? Also, I know you take T shots Phil - are they easier? By that I mean, do you find that they are better at bringing the levels under control? If so, I may well ask for this when I return. I think it is much harder faffing around with gels than it would be to simply inject the right dose a couple of times per week. Thanks for your time lads - always a pleasure be cool ade
