Guest guest
Did 'em today after drinking 1200-1300 ml water, at about 2:30 pm, after being awake since 09:30 am. HCT: 50.40* (40 - 50)HBG: 16.60 (13.4 - 17.0) So what we're seeing here is a return to the more normal forms. I've been without Testosterone gel for 3 1/2 weeks now, but I think I'll start again tomorrow. I tried to get Hertoghe to tell me if I can be without the gel, just having an optimal Thyroid - But he repeated over and over that I need the gel. So guess he likes treating people with multiple hormones, huh. That's what he's all about. He also said that I likely have Posttraumatic Syndrome Of Brain Injury. Which is Secondary Hypopituitarism, right? - Thought he didn't call it that. He said the low FT4 back in 1997 after my first Thyroid Panel ever (Febaruary 1997) with no Thyroid meds started yet, was too low in the bottom half as he called it. However, he said that even if I had a higher LH at 7 and a FSH of 2 before, that doesn't mean things are optimal, though the FSH of 2 was optimal in his opinion. FSH should not be higher, he said. He did say that it's the relation between Total Testosterone and SHBG that matters, BUT he also put emphasis on the S-Testosterone, which is Total Testosterone, and that is has to be in the top 25% he said. Mine was in the bottom 10% of the range when I came to him. His range is 3.000 to 10.000. Mine was like 3500, so, yeah, too low. And I guess I'm there right now without the gel for 3 1/2 weeks. So, S-Testosterone (Serum Testosterone) is TOTAL Testosterone. Do we all agree?
Guest guest
One thing you can do to help keep your blood thinner is Fish Oil 3 grams / day and it's good for you. Also take a baby asprin 2x's a day. Your Dr. is one of the best what he is saying is your Secondary your Pituitary dose not tell your body to make hormones. And yes you need to keep your Total T up in the upper 1/3 of your labs range to start. And you need to keep your Estradiol levels down to about 20 pg/ml. I have a huge problem with Estradiol and with the help of a mod at Dr. 's forum it's not a problem anymore. All I needed to do is take some HC at bed time this stopped my body from making so dam much Estradiol from my Testosterone. Read this link. http://www.griffinmedical.com/male_hormone_modulation_therapy.html Go to the home page here and read the Links and Files section it's full of good info about your problems.
