Mixing hCG?

OK, I got my hCG today from ADC. Just want to make sure I am doing this right.

It is the 2000 IU called FERTIGYN made by Sun Pharmaceutical in India. If I am

going to take 250 IU per dose the day before my T shot every 3 days that should

be enough for 8 doses in each ampoule. Right?

Each package came with a plastic tube of 2ml sodium chloride injection IP 0.9%

plus they sent a separate tube of sterile water. Both of these I am going to

discard and instead get some bacteriostatic water to mix it with.

The ampoule is all glass and the package insert doesn't say but I assume I need

to break the top off. Then use a large mixing needle to add the bacteriostatic

water to the ampoule tube.

I have some 3ml, 18 gage X 1-1/2 or 3ml, 22 gage X 1 will either of those do for

mixing? I have the mixing instructions for the 5000 and 10000 but I have no

idea how much bacteriostatic water to add to 2000. Would that be just a case of

doing the math to divide it down? Now I assume I will also need a sterile empty

vile to store it in. For those who have done this before does it sound like

this plan is OK.

Thanks, Brett
