What effect will lowering estradiols have

Philip,

I took your advice and bought the DIM to reduce estradiols. My T is at

414, I don't know my free T as the dr didn't test for it. My estradiol

is at the top 2/3 of the range. If I reduce the estradiol without any

additional T what changes will occur?

My MD says my labs are fine (don't you love that?!?) and I have asked

to switch from 10 mg Androgel to weekly shots, but he hasn't got back to

me. I found a Nurse Practitioner in our town that is reported to be

really good with hormone therapy (male and female) . My sister in law

uses her and loves her! However, I won't have an appt until 1/20/11. :

When you say your Estradiol level are up into the upper 2/3 of the range your

high but it helps to know the level and the range.

Still if you get this down your SHBG levels will come down with this and free up

your bound Testosterone so your Free T levels will go higher. Your on TRT but

with high levels of Estraidol you end up with higher levels of SHBG and this

binds up your Testosterone so it's not working even if you have good high

levels.

Also lowering the Estraidol levels will give you back your sex life and your

night time and morning wood high Estradiol levels in men will kill your sex life

and give you some ED or poor wood.

Here is a copy of my reply back to you a cut and paste.

To add to this getting your Estradiol levels down in the DIM you got will make

you feel much better and give you back your sex life. Also if your having any

brain fog this will fix it. I get Anxiety and Panic Attacks from high levels of

Estraidol this will get better and you will sleep better.
