Yes, this happened to me too.  I was tested at 227 in Jan.  After three two

weeks on 4 pumps of androgel, I started feeling like it was not working.  I was

tested again and my Total T level dropped down to 97.  Now I am on 6 pumps of

androgel and have an appointment to see Dr. tomorrow.  My PCP didn't

understand this so he wanted me to go to a specialist.  I think I will be on the

road to recovery soon.

Yep your brain sees the T in your blood and slows down sending the LH and FSH

messages to your testis so what your testis were making before going on the gel

you lose. Now all your left with is what the gel is doing and if it's not

enough you can end up lower then you started.

If upping the dose does not work then you will need to switch to shots. I see

this here all the time and I feel a lot of men don't do well on gels and creams.
