Hi all

I'm 23 and have been feeling more like a 75 y/o for many years now. I think the

cause of this is from having pretty bad genetics and/or having abused

recreational drugs at a very young age.

I live in Australia and have also been going to dr to dr and even an endo for

many years with frustration as they weren't experienced or educated enough to

treat me so would always put it down to some kind of cop out like CFS or

depression is the cause of it all.

My main symptoms that have been the most troubling have always been chronic

fatigue and headaches, but the list goes on from digestive issues to frequent

pissing having to go all the time worse than a girl.

After years of disappointment and frustration from dr's and watching my life

stay the same shitty way i decided to bite the bullet and save up to go see a

very expensive ($500 a session not including bloods wich is like anther $500)

anti-aging/wholistic dr who was recommended on a forum.

He tested for everything and the results were high estrogen, low testosterone

(but within range), high RT3, candida and mild heamocromitosis (iron overload).

His treatment plan diet to eliminate candida, small doses 15mcg of slow release

T3 to lower RT3, monthly vienesections (blood drainings) for iron overload, and

1g of arimidex twice a week to lower e2 and get rid of mild gyno/puffy nipples.

I asked what about for low testosterone he said no testosterone cream is for the

rest of your life and i'm young and it dangerous and went on about it. But when

i thought about it a little it seems smart as all of my conditions could be

causing the low test and it is not clinically low 14nmpol with the range of 9 -

30 he said i should be in-between 20 - 30. I'm sure if it doesn't improve and

all options are exhausted he will prescribe it but we will see.

******end of intro/background****

Now to my question about arimidex what are the long term side effects of this

drug so far I've herd rumors of e2 receptors becoming more sensitive and it

causing arthritis by dissolving joints any truth to all this?

I have been on 1mg twice a week and my puffy nipples didn't go away now taking

0.5mg EOD and now thinking of upping it to 0.5 ED cause still have puffy nipples

and would like higher testosterone levels but this is now going to be self

medication as i don't go to my anti-aging dr until anther 2 months as requested

as it's too expensive.
