Fasted labs, is there a limit to duration of fast?

I have my labs tomorrow, I was told to fast between 10 and 12 hours,

however the diet I am on I regularly fast for ~16hrs (6-8pm to 11am-noon

or so time frame) so going longer is no big deal to me, but I also don't

want to mess up the labs either. If they are designed around 10-12hrs

should I stick to that?

My appointment is at 07:40AM, if I stop eating at 6pm today, will that

be too long a fast? That will be nearly 14hrs depending on fast they

are able to get me processed.

The other issue is the last meal I eat on Thursdays is usually 6pm the

latest because from 7pm-9pm I train martial arts. I guess technically I

could eat right after that and make the fasting period 10-11hrs to fit

the desired window but normally I would not eat after training.

Just wondering if anyone who has more experience with lab results knows

if there is an issue with a ~14hr fast vs the 10-12 usual.

BTW I went on this diet a long time after my hormone issues were known

for the past 5 years I had been on a 6 small meals a day routine, and

quite honestly I think if anything I have improved in how I feel since

starting to intermittent fast daily. I feel more balanced and have more

energy especially during workouts, but I am still lagging overall and

thus the additional testing and research into why.

time they get you in an take the blood it's 9am.
