Guest guest
has anyone had any success with Brain Calm? Can this help with night swaets?? GABA is concentrated in the hypothalamus region of the brain and is known to play a role in the overall functioning of the pituitary gland – which regulates growth hormone synthesis, sleep cycles, and body temperature. Guest guest
I never heard if this but I don't look for supplements for this. Night sweats are a few things that can be wrong with you. One big one if your on TRT is high Estradiol levels if they are to high you will get spikes in your levels at night when you sleeping. I would wake up feeling like I can't breathe sweating like a pig with feelings of Panic. I suffered with this for yrs. until I tested my Estradiol levels and got them down. I also found my problems I had went away doing this. I had BPH, Fog, loss of Libido and ED problems, Rash's on the back of my lower legs and under my arms on the side of my chest. All gone getting Estradiol levels down. Then the other one is Adrenals low Cortisol when your sleeping and your levels are very low your sugar drops waking you up with your bed wet from sweat. Here is a cut and paste from this link. http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/adrenal-fatigue/ ==================================================== Adrenal insufficiency is linked to insomnia in two ways. 1)If your cortisol drops too low during the night your blood sugar drops too. Your body compensate by releasing adrenaline as an emergency measure to mobilize more sugar. This has the effect of waking you in an instant. This can be reduced by eating high protein snack before retiring e.g. sardines, nuts of high quality protein shake. 2)In early stages of adrenal fatigue cortisol levels tend to rise and if they are high at midnight they can energise you and keep you awake. Phosphorylated serine can be used to lower cortisol at these times due to its ACTH dampening effect. ---------------------------------------------------- And your Thyroid http://livingnetwork.co.za/hormones/thyroid-problems/ Co-Moderator Phil > From: gviceman77@... <gviceman77@...> > Subject: Brain Calm / GABA > > Date: Monday, June 28, 2010, 8:47 PM > has anyone had any success with Brain > Calm? > > Can this help with night swaets?? > > GABA is concentrated in the hypothalamus region of the > brain and is known > to play a role in the overall functioning of the pituitary > gland – which > regulates growth hormone synthesis, sleep cycles, and > body temperature. > > >
