Guest guest
Hi Phil, Thank you for your response posted on thyroid.about.com. My Endo initially gave me Androgel which never worked at all. After trying for a couple of months in different doses I had to switch to Depo Testosterone 100MG/ML every 15 days but my FreeTestosterone levels were too high. I am also on Synthroid 88mcg. Before I was on 75 but my last month's blood work showed a TSH of 5.4 which is about 1.0 high out of range. So my endo increased my synthroid to 88mcg See below Testosterone, Total 810 Ref Range: 250-1100 ng/dl Testosterone, Free % 2.90 H Ref Range: 1.5 - 2.20 % Testosterone Free 234.9 H Ref Range: 35.0 - 155.0PG/ml So as the Free T & Free T % are too high, he put me on 50MG/ml every 15 days and the lab results are like below. Testosterone, Total 499 Ref Range: 250-1100 ng/dl Testosterone, Free % 2.67 H Ref Range: 1.5 - 2.20 % Testosterone Free 133.2 Ref Range: 35.0 - 155.0PG/ml With the Test - shots initially my libido was good and it slowly started to diminish and now even with the above normal results, its not that great. Also my question is What happens if my Free T levels are high and out of range ? I find many bodybuilders who take 200MG per week and what about them in this case ? Also, do I have to use any ancillary drugs like Nolvadex and HGC to block estrogen and also keep off from testicular atrophy. From about a month or so my beard (facial hair) is growing very slow. I used to grow about 2 mm in 1 week and now its only growing 1 mm or less in a week. That concerns me. Also, behind and around my Right breast/nipple I am finding small lumps and they are painful. I am wondering if it is Gyno or what ? I asked my ENDO to check my Estrogen levels but looks like he overlooked. I have to insist on him next month. What do you think should I do. Thanks, Joe
