Guest guest
Guys I'm going to need to stop TRT, at least for the time being, and need to know how best to drop it. Recap: I'm an 8 year post-op prostate cancer survivor who started TRT back up after being 5 years clean from cancer (doctors were OK with this). However, recently I got a somewhat higher PSA reading (it had been showing as " NIL " for 8 years; however, it was just slightly elevated last week and the doctor wants to recheck it in 3 months - again, it's only slightly elevated and doctor said it may only be a faulty test so he's not overly worried - however, I want to stop TRT (at least for the time being) and want to avoid crashing as much as possible. Right now I'm on a fairly low dose ( .40ML weekly) + 1-DIM tablet daily. If I stop cold turkey right now, what am I facing? Would it be better to just cut in half over a period of a week or two? I don't want to make a big deal about it but TRT helped me so much to begin with I'm concerned about the other side. Thx Txmtnboy
