Guest guest
I am hypothyroid for last few years and was not stable either with synthroid or natural thyroid hormones till I started iodoral. I feel much better now but still not perfect. I came to know that taking zinc with copper will improve thyroid's performance as well. I am bit skeptical since I came to know the zinc poisoning through denture cream. Would you please explain your experience if you are using zinc+copper and what is your dosage? Any side effects etc.? Thank you, ASU.
Guest guest
I am taking both! Copper is needed while taking Vitamin C in adequate doses for treating AF, Zinc is needed if it gets too low, like mine is low range. I take 2 mg Zinc daily I also take 30 mg Zinc daily From: asu_ca <no_reply > Subject: Zinc and Copper use in Hypothyroidism Date: Sunday, April 3, 2011, 11:30 PM Â I am hypothyroid for last few years and was not stable either with synthroid or natural thyroid hormones till I started iodoral. Guest guest
I started out taking 50 mgs of Zinc with 2 mgs of Copper in it. I started at one pill 2x's / day for the first 4 weeks then just one. At the time it helped with my Estradiol levels to bring them down. But I was on a lower dose of Androgel. This is the brand I used at the time. http://www.myvitanet.com/zincop100cnt.html Today I get some in my Multi-Vit. and I take ZMA 3 caps at bedtime. And I take 2 mgs of Copper at noon I read that it's better to take Copper at a diff. time then when you take Zinc Zinc lowers Copper. http://www.myvitanet.com/biocitrate-copper-2-mg-60-count-solaray.html http://www.myvitanet.com/zma-180-caps-now-foods.html The links are just to show you what I use.
