Guest guest
There's not a lot of information available in the medical literature on the effect of testosterone supplementation on HDL cholesterol levels. I have the results of two tests which may provide some insight. The variables that didn't change during this period were diet and exercise, they remained the same during the entire period. After adding HCG to my protocol, my testosterone levels went very high (over normal) so I adjusted the dose of Androgel from 10 g to 5 g. 1st test:, testosterone 1,070 (range 280-800) Labcorp HDL cholesterol 51, LDL 102, Triglycerides 55 2nd test, 2 months later after being on Androgel 5g for a month testosterone 679 (range 280-800) Labcorp HDL cholesterol 71, LDL 119, Triglycerides 60 I have a very strong family history of stroke and heart disease, so I consider the effects of testosterone on my blood lipids. It's good to know that I can keep my testosterone levels above average and not suffer adverse cardiovascular effects of TRT.
