Phil's Back/Leg Pain

I'm wondering if your pain is a perfect storm of all three things you mentioned

it could be: HGH, statins, and sciatica. I don't know anyone on HGH, but the

people on statins I know with problems don't mention pain so much as no feeling.

FIL says it's like walking in two feet of snow all the time. His feet just feel

heavy. My dad was also in a walker from statins and was very slow to walk,

almost shuffling, like he couldn't pick his feet up. But that's not quite what

you're describing.

I had sciatica, and the pain was excruciating, but ONLY when I rose from a

sitting to standing position. Laying flat in bed or sitting still was ok. But

once I tried to stand, it was like someone took a hot poker to my back and ran

it straight down to my ankle. But once the nerve had fired, I was completely ok

to walk, legs worked fine. So this is also not quite what you're describing.

Sciatica will respond to physical therapy. They taught me exercises to get my

piriformis muscle off my sciatic nerve. But I bet you already know those

exercises.

Just wish I could help more.
