Guest guest
I've been having a hard time with cortef dosing and my symptoms. This past wed- Fri. were very stressful in work. I was up to 30mg of cortef /day and needed more. The cortef isn't cutting it. I'm seeing my doctor tommorrow and will be talking to him about medrol. I'm also going to talk to him about prescription sleep aids. Before starting cortef about a month ago, I was only getting about 3hrs. sleep. Since the cortef, there are nights when I get no sleep. I can't figure out the dosing. I know that I don't wake because of my glucose level. I have a monitor and my sugar is in the 90's. I believe the problem is my high rt3. I need better support for my adrenals. While working on this, I'll need stronger sleep aids than OTC. These aren't working. After I get the adrenals supported, I'll work on the rt3 with cytomel. My doctor tried treating the rt3 with cytomel without addressing the adrenals in the past. My system did not handle this well. With the adrenals supported the cytomel should work. It's going on 1 yr. with hrt. I can't say I feel much better than before I started.
