Could you e-mail me an address or tell me how I send in a donation Feel better and god Bless -Val >> Hi Val, Here is the post I received from the woman who is running the Auction. Quite a nice lady. She will be joining the Lyme list after this is all over so I'll let her tell you all about herself. Remember, the auction is over on Sunday the 13th. When it started it had about 100 donations of jewelry (and they have other items too). As of the 8th they had 190 items and everyday they have more wonderful stuff. I know personally that they have been in touch with & Tom from the LDF so this is quite legitimate. If you bid on something and win, then you send a check to the person made out to the LDF or the American Red Cross for Hurricane Mitch. Two worthy causes to be sure. I've never participated in an auction of any kind. I only looked in at the site because the LDF was mentioned. When I saw the heirloom quality of costume jewelry, the unique pieces, I decided that with my extremely limited Christmas budget, I could get a few pieces for the important women in my life. I hope I'm right <g> but I'm hoping they'll appreciate something they can wear over and over and say when they are complemented " Oh, yes, my friend Marleen got this for me at Christmas. " So, I hope you will all stop over and just see what they have. But -- be prepared to stay awhile because there is so much to look at! They have pieces starting at $3-to $5.00! They even have a Beanie Baby Santa 1998 for the true collectors. If you find you do like it there and find a treasure and sent a check to the LDF or ARC ---- that will be my gift to you all ---- and to those organizations. My best, Marleen ************************************************************ As of 9:25 EST this morning, we have a total of 190 listings and bids totalling $4,762.00!!! 36 new items listed since yesterday afternoon, and we are up $1,160.50 since yesterday afternoon! I would say that is pretty awesome considering our Auction server was down until almost noon yesterday! > > Hey guys, check out the wonderful items that are on page 3 and 4 too, they are not receiving alot of attention but there are some great items at great prices! > > If you haven't been to the charity auction as of yet, the URL to get to ALL four pages are here! > > http://www.playle.com/browse.php3?2024+1 > http://www.playle.com/browse.php3?2024+1+1 > http://www.playle.com/browse.php3?2024+1+2 > http://www.playle.com/browse.php3?2024+1+3 >
