Guest guest
Hi, Also when I take my 600mg of magnesium a day, they are less frequent. Connie
Guest guest
The boil thing could possibly be something else. I had them everywhere for a year. Had to have them drained and return to the doctor 3-4 times a week (what a hassle) It ended up as a internal strep infection, they never found the cause. But once they were drained and lots of different antibiotics they haven't come back. Keep your fingers crossed. Connie
Guest guest
Good Idea Thats what my dr. did. I didn't have Lyme then at least no one thought of it, but my culture came back the type of strep you get in hospitals after surgery. I hadn't had any surgery for years. We have never been able to trace it back to anything. Connie
Guest guest
Oh my God!!!! I thought I was just becoming totally paranoid about the boil thing! I keep getting boils on my belly, under my breast, on my butt, thigh, and in more sensitive areas still!!!!! I have one HUGE one there as we speak! It is just amazing how whenever something happens to one of us, sure enough, it happens to someone else as well! But this boil thing I really thought was something else entirely! How much more fun can this disease get???????????? Guest guest
I NEVER thought about that! I am going to have the doctor check that out on Sat! You might really be onto something with that! Guest guest
Amy, I'm having a lot of lower back pain also. I wake up frequently in the middle of the night, unable to roll over until I can grab the edge of the bed and pull myself over. It's very painful. Once I sit up it's better. My chiropractor advised moving my feet rapidly in and out (toes toward each other, then outward) while lying on my back, and pressing my low back into the bed. this helps break the immediate spasm sometimes. There's a good yoga stretch that helps release the chronic pain sometimes: Get down on hands and knees on the floor. Put your face closer to the floor and stretch your arms out in front of you with your hands flat on the floor, and then SLOWLY sit backwards on your heels, but keeping your face and arms close to the ground. You should look like you're bowing down in worship. Rest like that and take a few slow breaths, with your butt on your heels and your arms still stretch out on the floor in front of you. This really helps stretch out those tight muscles in my low back and butt when they spasm. Just move slowly and gently and don't hold your breath. Only go as far as you can without pain. Guest guest
I wonder -- has anyone ever had one these boils cultured to see what's inside them? I wonder if you would find Bbs?
Guest guest
Hi Amy, About two weeks ago I had a boil under my left breast, on the breast itself, the underside of it, really weird....I still have it but it is healing. As a child I used to get these often, (mostly on my butt if I recall) my Great-grandmother would put a tea bag on me and then some black salve (anyone remember that stuff?) My grandmother told me that my blood was too thick and that's why I would get the boil, not sure if that was an old wives tale or not. As for your spinal pain, hopefully it is just one of the odd aches and pains we are prone to get and it will disappear soon, but if it continues you may want to ask your doc for a MRI...I try to wait about a month before I ask for one, I had lumbar pain for a while, and when I got the MRI, it showed nothing, and the pain was gone as well. I am not sure about your other question about Babesia only, no Lyme. Hope someone can answer this for you. Hugs, Marta >From: A1M1BISHOP@... > > Hi there, just a quick question to all of you, have any of you had boils >since lyme disease?
