Guest guest
Dear friends, Since leaving school I have worked in different capacities in the finance world. Up until I became 'management' my hours were quite restrictive; however, now I have some flexibility, also a private office; where I can take my shoes off, rub my feet, I also have a foot massager under my desk that I put my feet on while I am working. So I feel fortunate in that regard in the work world. Everyone I work with knows I have feet problems, lol, I am always kicking my shoes off at meetings. I do wear my sports shoes to work, carry my dress shoes in the briefcase, then change when I get there. If my feet are really bothering me during the day, then I change back to the other shoes. One drawback perhaps to this job is that I am on the job at 5 am which means I am up extra early, and sometimes if I don't get a good night's sleep, I am a bit wasted. Because my 'day' starts so early, I am on a completely different meal and sleep schedule, like I eat lunch about 10 am. But all this works out fine for me. At least my commute is a breeze at the early hour! I also am in bed evenings at about 7:30 or 8 pm. But all this is my lifestyle choice right now and I am able to make the adaptions without a problem. I love my job and what I do, the firm I work for and my clients.
