Guest guest
Dear Marta, Thanks for the kind words. Don't feel badly, there are a few doctors that I wish would get this disease, too. I haven't heard anything else from NYMag; they wrote me on Wednesday and I didn't answer until Saturday night because my daughter and I were staying in Great Neck doing HBOT. I hope they still print it. When I returned home tonight there was a message from my former employer; he wants to talk to me. I do hope they didn't sniff out my place of occupation and start something nasty for them. I'm just getting paranoid. I can't wait to see everybody in Gettysburg! I decided to stay at the Motor Lodge with everyone instead of my sister's (45 minutes away) so I could be with my fellow-lymies. I hope your leg swelling is diminished. See you soon! Guest guest
Hi Eileen, I am glad you feel the same way about " some doctors " I can't help but wish sometimes Steere or Datwyler could be infected. I hope that your call from your old employer was not unpleasant. I doubt that NY magazine's editor letter was involved...it looked great by the way, thanks to Bernadette's expertise. I am so happy you will be staying with those of us who are at the Heritage. Can't wait to meet your daughter, I met you at the NYC rally. My leg swelling is much better, since I stopped the Motrin, must have been it. But herxing my butt off, can't wait till it is done so I can have some functionality. I hope the HBOT is the answer for you and your daughter and whoever else is trying it. Let us know what you think when you complete the treatment. Guest guest
Dear Marta, I've had even more evil wishes for some of the people I used to work with. I guess I should have confessed that at some point in confession (I mean, reconciliation!) They changed it. Anyway, I'm glad they printed my letter but they left out quite a bit--like my mentioning Gettysburg and I don't live in Manhattan, but NJ. They also left out how I knew to run away from the doctor who said I had " Post-Lyme Syndrome " and that the 2nd 2nd opinion said I didn't have Lyme but my daughter had congenital Lyme. I guess I shouldn't bitch about details, right? I can't comment on the HBOT yet because I'm tired from the running back and forth to Great Neck. It has increased my near-sightedness greatly, and I can't wait it out (it's supposed to be temporary). I have to get a new prescription to feel safe driving. So that will be another 200+ bucks. I'm sorry you're herxing but IT GOES AWAY!!!My last one, after the 1st 2 treatments of HBOT only lasted 24 hours! I've herxed so many times that it's nice that they're getting shorter. I hadn't felt that badly for 3 years, but it was only 1 day. I think you'll be better by April 7th. I'm glad your legs are better; that must have been scary. Thanks for the referrals; I don't know why the LDANJ keeps putting me off on giving me the list. I'm getting paranoid again--do they think I'm a spy? Yes, I was paranoid about my boss; the call was about filling out a form he's sending me to show I'm an upright citizen for a financial interest I'm still involved in with the group. is lonely and hungry, so good night.
