Guest guest
Hi Happy, Thanks for posting this, I was not aware of it, and bookmarked it today. I read most of it and was glad to see the doctors on board, sure hope many others join up, I will copy the page when the membership app is available and ask my doctor to join. DUH....I used to have a great organizational mind.......makes me mad when these things go " right over my head " now. Happy
Guest guest
Boy do I know what you mean, I am constantly overlooking the simplest things, very frustrating. I hope my doctor will be interested, he is on the LDF board....these doctors really have to join together to make a difference, but many too frightened to lose their practices, can't blame them I guess. Guest guest
Connie, I've heard only GOOD things about Dr. Gaito. (What's the " bashing " all about?) One of my good friends in PA drives 6 hours to take her daughter to see her and praises her to high heaven. Also, saw our Angel Doc on Wednesday. He mentioned that he had lunch with her and Dr. B last month? He also seemed very impressed, and was glad to finally meet her in person. Like you, I sure appreciate all the hard work our good docs do on our behalf! Where would we be without them? From: " conniek " <conniek@...> I was on the phone last night with Dr. Gaito, as president of the International Lyme Associated Diseases Society, she was busy putting together some specific reports, guidelines, presentations etc. I know this group was instrumental in removing the Lymerix Vaccine from the Market.....This goup continues to advocate for the treatment of Lyme. Many have put down my Dr. I still think she is wonderful and works hard as President of this Professional Organization for Drs. Fighting for Lyme Patients!!! I applaud all those in this group...........and hope others begin to give the well deserved respect for Dr. Gaito and others in this group, that they so deserve! I get so sick of hearing the bashing of Drs. I applaud them all................. Thanks to Dr. Gaito, I no longer have Lyme Symptoms. I have total respect and confidence in her not only as a Rheumatologist, but also one of the top Drs. today in Treating those inflicted with this terrible disease. http://www.ilads.org/officers.htm Read through this site..........very interesting articles.
